If you're looking for a good mentor Will Coombe is exceptionally qualified. He will take you through the various steps and what it takes to achieve that top No1 spot in google. I was impressed with his effort of combining 9 years+ of being one of the UK's leading SEO firms into a solid 6-month marathon of putting it all out there in this book, that is not an easy thing to do and it is one of the reasons which has made me appreciate the contents all the more, he is also a go-getter and an adventurous individual, so you know when you're reading this you are getting advice from someone who has done a lot in his life.He has an ethical approach with integrity, has quite the friendly writing style that keeps you glued to your screen.This is very important in business nowadays. There is a little nice surprise just before the end which I thoughtwas a true testament of the credibility and the heart this go-getter author has.All of the above has given me enough reasons to trust his credibility in turn which gave me the confidence to really digest the contents of the book thus getting a better understanding. (When you tend to trust the information you are reading, and have just solid faith in it, you tend to learn better, I know this for a fact and it came through with Will Coombe.)Who this book is not for ( My personal opinion )1. Let me make this easy for you, to save on your money. If you are the type of person who is looking for shortcuts( This is not definitely..! Not for you. Though it is also great to skim through if you are wanting to get clarification on a certain topic.)2. If you are the type of person who when faced with obstacles OR adversity OR when the going gets tough OR seems to duck in turbulent situations (Pun intended hah) and hides then this book is again not for you. If however you are this person and looking for a change, then there is no better place to start than here, SEO is an accessible tool and a learnable one.3. If you are a thrifty spender when it comes to SEO and digital assets... and are in the mindset of viewing this book as an expense rather than an investment with the potential for a MASSIVE RETURN on that investment (Then that is right I'm going to say it again..) I think your money might be better spent elsewhere. Mind you it is a for a low price compared to the huge value you get in return for it, but once again if this is you! then definitely keep that money and better spend it elsewhere..!Whom I think this book is for :1. For people who are dedicated and are looking for an improvement in their life.2. For people who have a business small-medium and are interested in the SEO process. ( Will is an absolute professional.)3. For starting affiliate marketers who want to make massive returns on their investment. ( Yes, please skip the other books with flashy titles.. Go with this one.)4. For people who want to start an agency.5. For those who are already in the game and are doing all right but are even more interested to take it to the next level and increase their market share. (Want to be more accessible to your customers? I highly recommend it. )6. For those looking debunk some common issues and myths around SEO I feel this book is an excellent choice for that also.7. For those who are really on top of their SEO game and just basically are top-notch experts on the subject - but who are looking to get a different insight. It might be worth a read I think.All in all - I thought this book was a great read, Will Coombe has created a raging fan in me here for sure.This review is not biased in any way, shape, or form however it just depicts my true thoughts about this book.I have purchased a few SEO books both digitally and paperbacks, which I would of course not name here,for the purposes of not tarnishing them but I will say this book is the cream of the crop.The author has also made a good effort to connect with his readers.I was impressed with the writing style, felt like I was sitting down and having a coffee across fromWill as he takes you through the process and explains the different parts.In the words of Jack welch "Innovation is not a big breakthrough invention every time. Innovation is a constant thing. But if you don't have an innovative company [team], coming to work every day to find a better way,you don't have a company[team]. You're getting ready to die on the vine.You're always looking for the next innovation, the next niche, the next product service improvementBut always trying to get better. I bought Will Coombe's book because I am starting a business with a pretty new website, and I am looking to build up my SEO so that my website eventually appears on the first page of Google for my area. It was worth every dime, and then some. If you are interested in learning the ins and outs of this area of marketing, don't hesitate.Mr. Coombe writes in such a clear, conversational, easy-to-read manner, that it's almost like you're hanging out with an old friend who knows exactly what you need to know, and has an amazing sense of humor. He guides the reader through the benefits of SEO and all of the facets involved in improving the SEO of your website. As one who is completely new to this area, I can now say that I have a familiarity with what is needed for proper SEO for a website, and know exactly what I need to do to make it work.The book also gives you access to several videos that Mr. Coombe has put together to show the reader the various concepts illustrated throughout. The videos are extremely well done, and are so much more fun, entertaining, and useful than several pages of graphics, arrows, and how-to-instructions ever would be for such things. At the end of the book, Mr. Coombe brings it all together for the reader by providing a week-by-week, easy-to-follow guide for the reader to get their SEO going over the course of three months.The world needs more authors like Will Coombe, who can clearly see from the reader's perspective and explain a complicated topic in a clear, friendly, fun manner that keeps you engaged. As one who has been frustrated with many a "how to cook" book (I can't cook to save my life, mainly because no one ever taught me and every "cooking for beginners" book still assumes that you have some kind of minimum base knowledge, which...I don't...and technically beginners shouldn't have base knowledge...see what I'm getting at?), I can say that Will Coombe's book will take you step by step from knowing absolutely nothing about this topic, assuming that you are a true beginner. And if there is something he's about to go over that he thinks you might already know or could be incredibly obvious to some readers, he'll tell you in advance that he doesn't mean to insult your intelligence, and that you can skip it if needed - see how brilliant this man is? Not only helping the true beginner but saving precious time for the somewhat-savvy SEO aficionado by anticipating the needs of the many.I could easily write a small book on how great this book is, but I'll stop here. If you made it this far into this review, then you must be serious about SEO. So, don't hesitate. Buy the book. You'll be so happy you did.
