DECIMATOR MD-Cross V2 Miniature HDMI/SDI Cross Converter

I have used many products like this and bought this one to do some computer to 1080i conversion for a broadcast system. Worked great for that. After trying a couple of others that cost more and had a lot of things to dislike. What really impressed me though is the test pattern generator. There is no way you can buy a programmable multi format generator with the quality of these patterns for anything close to this kind of money. I can't believe how inexpensive it is. I bought one just to use for a test pattern generator with embedded audio. I carry it in my toolbox always.I highly recommend this piece.

This converts HDMI to SDI, vice-versa, and has extra SDI jacks so you can use it as a splitter.Also if you want, it converts your video signal into different formats, like 720p to 1080i, etc.It does other stuff too, but I'd say those are the two biggest uses. This is the product used in all the corporate shows I've done.

I love that this product works right out of the box, and that you can operate it without a computer .... that being said, the software interface is super easy to use and it's an incredibly quick learning curve. Definitely recommend the software interface for the test signal functionality. I love the dependability and reliability of every decimator product I have used. This is no exception

Running multiple video feeds in a live music environment never fails to present an occasional hiccup or hurdle to overcome during setup. Perhaps one of the cameras has a different refresh rate or resolution than the others and is not sending a signal to the switcher. Maybe the video server hasn't arrived yet and the projectors need to be tested/mapped or worse yet, it is 30 mins before a show and the venue's SDI connection is acting shady.Enter this handy red device. Convert HDMI and SDI in all manner of ways/formats, plus the built-in test pattern generator is almost worth the price itself. These red boxes make life easier for AV professionals.

Rugged solid unit. Does a tremendous amount of things.. up, down, cross convert Takes a little time to get used to me u control on unit but using a computer is a breeze

I don't leave home without this any more. This device is so versatile that it can save the day in most video cases. The built in patern generator was the selling point for me but all the other features make it the best all-in-on adaptor/converter/testing/troubleshooting tool for anything SDI or HDMI.
