Works like it should and inexpensive
I have two of these stands, one for each of my road bikes. I like them because I can toss one in the back of my SUV with my bike and then stand the bike up safely while I sign in, get a cup of coffee and BS with other riders. I also use them in the garage and sometimes have alternated the bikes so they take up less room. I have read the stands can damage the cassette on the rear axle. I have not had that problem since I thought I was supposed to use the front wheel. On very windy days, I lean the saddle against the side of my truck. Because the stand is very light a bike could probably blow over. The stand is adjustable for tire width, but it does not fit the very wide tires on my trail bike. These things are so cool I have actually considered making one for my garage out of a 2x6, bent tubing, and the foam used on air conditioning tubing. I could easily make it long enough for all of my bikes and my 8-yr old granddaughter's very cool little bike.

Goes with me everywhere
I bought this stand as an addition to my original stand, which is 15 years old and still going strong. I have multiple bikes, so I needed another one. Where my bike goes, so does this stand. I use this once my bike is off the car rack and I’m preparing to ride. I use it in my garage to keep my bike upright. This is versatile and adjustable to fit a wide range of tire sizes! I use with front or back wheels as well.

This will frustrate you to no end!!!
In my 43 years I have assembled countless pieces of furniture, exercise equipment, toys, gadgets and everything else under the sun but this was one of the most frustrating things I had to put together. There are so many flaws in the design. There are no instructions to speak of except one picture to show you how the nuts and bolts should go together and one sentence that tells you put to it together loosely. The problem is getting the nuts and bolts to align. They designed it so the nut is supposed to fit snug into the top compartment, it has tabs that keep the nut in place, epic fail! It's flawed. Yes it holds the nut in place but it still allows it to move a little, just enough to cause a problem. When you try to screw the bolt into the nut, the nut will move just so slightly so that they are no longer aligned and if you try to force it you will cross thread the bolt. So you will have to back it up and try again, and again, and again, you get the picture. To make matters worse there is no room for you to use your fingers to start turning bolt, you have to use a screwdriver right from the start. Instead of making the space snug for the nut they should have let the nut be free moving and allow enough space for you to put a finger in there to simply hold the nut in place while you tighten it. If you manage to get the nuts and bolts to screw together without losing your mind you then have to adjust the 2 hoops to fit your bike, another flawed design. To do this you have to another person help you to hold your bike so you can adjust the hoops then turn the dang thing upside down while trying to keep the hoops from moving and do the final tighten. You will have to repeat this step several times before you can get the distance of the hoops correct to where your bike tire will fit in just right. If they had designed this to where you could tight the bolts from the top this final step would take only a fraction of the time, slide the hoops to the right distance and tighten them down, done. Hopefully they manufacturer reads this and hire's someone more competent to redesign this. In the meantime save yourself the frustration and buy the foldable stands made by RAD or Bikehand, yes they cost more but they come already assembled and required no adjustment whatsoever.

Decent Bike Stand
This stand works great. My only con is that if you bump it accidentally, it can fall and be difficult to get realigned to stay up! As long as it’s not touched it stays up fine!

Basic and cheap.
The rack is plastic. It does the job but it's not very substantial or sturdy. I would say it's slightly over priced for it's actual value.

Nice Rack
I use these racks for an older Dean Jester and a newer Voodoo mountain bike on camping trips. They're lightweight and easy to use. Way better than leaning the bikes against a tree or the camper. Great to keep bikes upright when securing with locks. Never had an issue with tipping, but I did adjust the bars for a close fit on the rear tires. I've also used them for storing bikes in a garage and had no tipping problems.

Poor quality
This is a much cheaper version of the stands I bought a decade ago, though advertised as the same model. I have 3 of the old and needed one more. This product is much lighter weight, does not even have the "Grand Stand" logo imprinted on the base now. Just plain generic parts. Nuts and bolts very low quality and one set was unable to screw together correctly for a secure fit. Will look at local hardware store to replace. Also there are several extraneous holes in the parts that are not on the old ones, as if these parts are interchangeable for other stands. For the price, not worth returning as it will hold a light bike upright which is all I need. But doubt it would hold a heavier bike. The old ones are very sturdy, much heavier weight plastic and went together flawlessly in 5 minutes and have never tipped over, even with a mountain bike. In viewing a close up of the product on Amazon, it appears to be a picture of the old model as the extraneous holes are not visible.
