The Sweet Sugarbelle stencils are thick and sturdy, but also offer a lot of different options for your cookies or crafts. I am excited to try out my new new brush with the stencils. I can see using these for several different holidays and birthdays.

I was able to use the star stencil for my New Years cookies, I used a makeup sponge intended just for my baking decorating needs that I coated a piece with luster dust and vodka and was able to get the look I needed. It was easy to use and easy to clean.

So far, they work great for airbrush stenciling on Royal icing. The plastic feels sturdy and is thicker than some of the other brands of cookie stencils I own. Sugarbelle/AC seem to make quality products and I’m pretty confident buying their products.

I don’t know how good these would have been without the sugarbelle cookie genie/magnetic stencil holder frame (I forgot what it’s called) to hold the stencil in place - because I used it together. I can only say: together, they were a winning combination. Decorated some iced cookies with ease. Very pleased.

I made some baby shower cookies using the stencils to make silver stripes and polka dots on my cookies. I just held the stencil down over my cookie as I air brushed a silver metallic sheen over the stencil then slowly peeled the stencil away from the cookie. Make sure your cookies are real flat because if they are domed (bigger in the middle) it can cause the design to not cover the entire cookie. If you don't have an air brush machine, you can also hand paint the stencil designs on the cookie using vodka (or lemon extract) mixed with petal dust powder or food gel colors, the alcohol evaporates and leaves you with only the color.

Great, durable, easy clean. I make cookies and they are very handy.
