They are one foot in length. But you cant'r use that whole foot. You cannot squeeze them close to the top. So you need to hold them roughly in the middle. This makes them a bit awkward. But I can use them to grab my toast without burning myself. The center hole had some splinters remaining from the drill. I cleaned them off well enough. I should probably sandpaper it. I thought that the lack of finishing touches was unprofessional. I would not re-order these. Since I bought a 4 pack I will be using these for a while.

Ads a really nice clean elegant touch to charcuterie boards or whatever use it for. Always get compliments.
