Whoopi Goldberg did an excellent job at keeping it 💯 in telling her story. It is truly her story to tell.Ms. Goldberg is honest and “real” about her childhood and her relationships with her mother and brother.She touched upon emotions only she and anyone else who has lost a mother can understand or feel.Excellent book, a quick read because it was so interesting.

Anyone who knows anything about Whoopi Goldberg should read this book. There is so much more to learn and believe me when I say it is indeed a page turner. Once I got started I could NOT put it down. I have not only learned a lot about Whoopi Goldberg but I have an increased level of respect and admiration!!!

Interesting read that explains some of the quirkiness of this fabulous actor.

If you love Whoopi Goldberg, read this. She talks with love about her mother and brother and how her relationship with her formed who she is. It’s honest, humorous and a darn good read.

I loved this book. When I first began reading it, I thought to myself that this was not much about Whoopie at all. She glossed over her own life and when I refocused on what the purpose of the book was, it was clear that this was a compelling tribute to a loving and devoted mother, and her close relationship with her brother. After losing my mother years ago when she was only in her early fifties, I wondered about all of the years that I didn't ask her more questions about her own life. She was a good mother as well. This book, Bits and Pieces, is about the very best that a mother can give to her children, and Emma Johnson gave her all. A gem of a read.

I've been a big fan of Whoopi since she got her start. I have always admired her incredible talent and have always liked her as a person. I really enjoyed reading her new book and found it very interesting. I learned things about Whoopi that I had no idea she had gone through. She's a very strong person and I loved reading about her relationships with her mother and her brother. I appreciate her sharing her story.

Just finished Bits and Pieces by Whoopi Goldberg. What a gorgeous, beautiful, and wonderful book. Told with frank honesty, this book is full of life lessons and wisdom. What a joy this book was to read. Whoopi tells how her mother and brother helped to shape who she is today, and it made me love my mom a little bit more. I love this book so much. I got the ebook, but now I want the hardcover!

Loved everything about this book. Whoopi is the best. She has more common sense and and authenticity than anyone. This book is relatable to most people. Loved every page. Honest and raw. A must read. So many life lessons shared with all.

Have a better understanding of her history
