Sharp as a scalpel

Very sharp and perfect for small art projects! Love them!

These are great to have for a number of reasons. On top of hobbies and other uses, they are sterile, so they are safe to use on splinters and other medical procedures. Make sure to get the "type" that suits your needs. There are sharp tipped ones, rounded tipped ones and a few different styles in addition. Be safe however, these are the real deal!

I don't do a lot of surgery and certainly not a lot of dermaplaning. Really, my surgical used is limited to an occasional sliverectomy after accidentally inserting a metal sliver into a finger while machining. But for what it is worth, these blades will work for this purpose. But being that I will largely be using these blades for my hobbies, it isn't important to me that these blades have been sterilized with gamma radiation (as interesting as it was to find this out.) What is important to me is that the blades be sharp. Very sharp. For precision cutting, sharpness is important. Lack of sharpness can lead to a slip and that can lead to a damaged part. And I have to say, that while these blades are sharp, they are not as sharp as other scalpel blades that I have used. Nevertheless, they are are sharp enough that I am finding them to be useful.The handles are cheap and disposable (which is the design intent). That is probably a good thing where sterilization is an issue. But a metal scalpel handle is a generally a better choice if that's an option. The handles have a "bonus" 6m ruler. But if I need to measure something, I will use a precision made purpose built metal ruler (or calipers) rather than the plastic handle.

It say bring 10 only got eight and that’s not the only issue the other issues. The package came unsealed open and the box damage if I could give this a zero star I would.
