These seemed to be of good quality, although I did return them as they were smaller than what I needed. They are mostly metal as advertised. The only plastic is the black bit where the cables go through. That obviously needs to be plastic so that it can bend out of the way of the cable.

The three that I received were too small for a 2" hole cut with either a hole saw or a Forstner bit. Measured with calipers, the outside diameter the part that inserts into the hole is 1-7/8". So now I am waiting for that size Forstner bit to arrive. I will take it as a sign that I needed a new and wider set of bits anyway. Just frustrating as the description does not match the product and previous comments led me to believe a 2" hole would be slightly tight.

Metal, strong, good looking. For thr price, you might pay 2x at a hardware store, and only get one. This will work perfectly for my built in desk. I

Okay so... just be aware... if you have a normal set of hole saws 2", 2.25", etc... these really aren't the best choice. The inserts are 53mm in diameter (2.08"), NOT a standard 2"... so if you do what i did and cut your holes with a 2" hole saw get ready for frustration when these absolutely don't fit. Meanwhile a 2.25" hole is too big! So...if you buy these, I hope you have a 2.08" hole saw handy or, like me, you have a dremel tool you can use to make each hole incrementally larger. Other than the odd size these are perfectly good... I'm only taking one star off for the odd size...it's fully disclosed and that I bought it anyway was my own fault. There are plenty just like it that fit 2.0" holes.

Too small for the hole, the top part should be larger than the bottom part. Also the black soft insert that the wires go through doesn’t stay attached to the metal face. Overall poorly made.
