It does exactly as it is supposed to do. Although, it is a little deceiving. There is a little battery icon in the top right corner, but there is no place to put a battery. And the instructions always make it seem like this thing can do more than it can do. I'm assuming that they have several different models and each one, although similar in design, have different features. This one , however is only a usb plug in number pad only. I have had my husband take the back plate off, because it has a place that looks like a battery would go in. But he could not get it open, and upon further examination, he found that it is a dummy. There is no place to put a battery. But none of this changes it's functionality. It does what it is supposed to do.

Does exactly what it's supposed to! Great fire laptop users missing the numpad. Also great for setting it up as a macro interface to create a streamdeck for cheap! And for the price it works perfectly.The only change I would make is adding a home key bump to the 5 to make it easier to place your hand without looking.Also something you'll want to do when you get it is to remove the film from the feet on the bottom. I didn't realize it at first, but upon removal the keypad was much better abs didn't slide as easily.

The back space button would stick from day one and now it’s only been 6 months and the usb is giving out and doesn’t work anymore.

NOT fully compatible with later OS X operating systems -- I am running Sierra 10.12.6 and the NumLock key and the navigation keys it should enable do not work. Returned. The website description is misleading. It claims compatibility with OS X, but in a tiny graphic on the box of this keypad, it says "Mac OS 9."

Returned. Did not work. Computer would not recognize the devise and my laptop met all standards.
