Reminded me of "mystery meat" patties of old school lunches: "What was that hard thing I just bit into?"
Like trying to eat coffee grounds mixed with pieces of tree bark. The chocolate flavor is quite good, but merciful heavens the coffee grounds are like small pebbles and the chicory (I'm assuming it's the chicory) is also not finely ground - more than once, while sampling 3 of the bars, I bit into a twiggy piece of something that was a full inch long and about 1/4 inch thick - like trying to eat garden mulch. Seriously, these bars were so full of unpleasant "mystery bits" I really would not have been surprised to find toenail clippings in them. To save myself from expensive dental work, I pitched the rest of the box. What a waste of money - but I guess you also get what you pay for, and these bars are certainly cheap. Lesson learned.

Please dont stop making these flavors! :)
My local grocery store stopped carrying this flavor (choc coffee) of fruitkies bars so I was SO happy to find I can buy them online.I follow a low carb diet and it's really hard to find something low carb for the sweet tooth.Even though I bought for the coffee flavor, I ended up liking the peanut butter the best.I highly recommend these!

Arrived completely melted
I'm giving these two stars only because the price was decent. I did not care for the flavor at all, it was like eating a grainy chocolate bar. The oats stood out in texture, but all I could taste was vegan chocolate and not a good kind. I don't know where the "brownie" is supposed to be. On top of the poor taste the bars arrived completely melted. I live in Wa state and it was a warm day, but not hot. If you do order these I recommend putting them in the fridge to resolidify before you try and eat them.

These protein bars are delicious. I avoid both lactose and gluten and it is is hard to find bars with a good amount of protein that I can eat.

Moldy Bars! :(
Just bit into a moldy Chocolate-Peanut flavored bar. I didn’t realize it when I first bit into it and then I started to smell and taste something funny.

Rancid taste in a couple boxes
I've ordered boxes of the peanut butter variety a few times. I've had normal tasting bars, I've now received 2 peanut butter boxes that have had an awful, rancid taste.

a little grainy, but I like that you can recognize all of the ingredients. Gets a bit messy when warm, so I keep them refrigerated.
