This is an extremely nice Headlamp. Great battery life, extremely high vis head band, nice compact semi hardshell case. Very bright. Very nice quality, however surprisingly lightweight.

The intensity is unmatched and and swivel adjustment is amazing! Love this headlamp! I want more! Can't say enough about this headlamp! My favorite features:1. The 2 brightness red is really useful!2. The 2 brightness levels of the "moon light function is great when you need a little light in a flood dispersion.3. The throw of the main lights feels like both a spot and a flood at the same time. Excellent for hiking, backpacking, camping, riding your bike at night, etc.4. The mounting system is genius. Being able to swivel the light up out of people's eyes is great. I wish I could buy a mount for my bike where I could clip the headlamp onto the bike or attach this mount to other places such as a magnetic attachment would just make it even more useful as a work light.

This headlamp does not get hot, is not heavy on your head, & the battery lasts a long time depending on the setting you use. The brightness is amazing! I have never seen a headlamp so bright! It's even brighter than the Nitecore HC60 v2!I only wish I could get an extra battery. When I asked the company about that they told me this headlamp won't need one. Well, I need one & will probably have to buy it off their website. Minus 1 star for not letting me buy an extra battery when I placed the order. The other headlamp came with an extra battery. Yes it lasts long, even well after it lets you know by dimming the brightness. However, I want the extra brightness so I really need that battery Nitecore. Shame on you for not letting me buy one.

Excellent head light and the battery lasts a long time high quality

If your buying this to replace the discontinued HC68 SAVE YOUR MONEY! This thing is not even close and unfortunately nitcore discontinued the HC68. So Ive purchased a few new spares while I can. This new square thing is pretty much only a flood light. Im a mechanic and have been purchasing headlamps for 25+ years so I wear these things all day and sometimes at night. This new model is not an upgrade. Long time nitecore fan but they dropped the ball on this one. BRING BACK THE 68 NITECORE OR IMPROVE ON IT!!

Doesn't heat up really... I wear it on my hat the battery life is good for what I need it for, very bright if I need another one I would rebuy this

Great, but takes some learning curve to get all the features down. Bright! Comfy too. Just complicated combinations of button pushes to operate. Learn it well and you'll love it though.
