Lanyards in photo gear are usually made of Kevlar or similar strong material, but not in this case. This one ripped off on my first day of snorkeling with very moderate use, I was lucky not to lose my GoPro.In addition, all metal parts started getting rusty after the first day in the water, clearly, instead of stainless steel some cheaper steel was used.Do not buy! It just looks like a functional product, but it is not.

I just received my order and can honestly say it’s the best tri-pod I’ve bought after using several different ones in the past. The tripod has a remote shooting feature which will be super useful when solo-traveling and it also can be used as a selfie-stick to get wider ranging shots. Would definitely recommend this product plover others
