Manufacturer's Description Triominos is the classic triangular domino game, with plenty of fun for all of the family. It features sturdy plastic Triomino tiles with big, easy-to-read numbers and large print, easy to follow instructions. Players score points by matching numbers on the three-sided playing pieces to pieces already in play, you score according to the value of the numbers on your piece . Triominos combines strategy, luck and exciting new challenges every time you play, making it a perfect game for children to meet adult competitors without being disadvantaged. This version of the classic game has three distinctive features. The unusual, and eye-catching triangular-shaped box sets it apart from any other game. The Triominos themselves are made of high-quality, hefty urea and feature a brass spinner in the centre for an upscale look. Finally, one-piece racks add to the deluxe quality of the set. For 2-6 players from the age of eight and over.

Delux is isn't.
First off, I love this game, and my seven and eight year old kids do too - it helps them with their mental arithmetic without them realising they they are adding and subtracting. My problem is the 'set' itself. The individual pieces are nice, I'm not sure what the point of the 'brass spinners' is though - these are just brass pimples on the face of the pieces, so that when they are turned over they spin around - I just can't see the point. The box clearly shows found black trays for resting your pieces on, however these are no-where to be found inside the box. I've seen other reviews say the same thing, so it isn't a one-off - some of these deluxe sets simply aren't deluxe. Why isn't there a better box? These pieces (and that is all that is in the box) take up a fraction of the size of this triangular box - would it hurt to include a nice travel pouch or a small tin inside the cardboard box?In short, all you get for your additional £££ is heavier playing pieces with a pointless brass nipple.but... its a great game to play, so I'll forgive them.

An interesting brain teasingly more difficult take on the dominoes theme!
This game is excellent as it suits all family members young and old and is suitable to take out of the cupboard at family gathering as the game is not overlong. This edition is excellent as it provides tile shelves so that the tiles do not keep falling over. It encourages mental stimulation and tutors quicker arithmetic calculation in a fun way. Once you achieve the basics you move on to advanced moves so the game stimulates and grows with ability.

Great game
I bought this for my own kids many many years ago and saw it here so bought it for the grandchildren...they're very young and too young to play it yet, but they are already getting enjoyment from just playing with the pieces and lining them up on the racks, learning to recognise the numbers and how they fit together, so it shouldn't be too long now...

A game you will play and play
We played this at a friends' house first and really enjoyed it as a change from Scrabble - bought it for ourselves and now play most days after lunch - it would certainly help children with their numbers and is a game that adults and children can play together. Nice thing about it is there are no complicated rules you have to learn first and scoring is easy. Well boxed, unbreakable and easy to store - I would imagine it would be a good present to give....?

Tri-Ominos
This game was purchased for the Games Group we have here all of whom are mature players. They all love the game and play it regularly. As usual Amazon were brilliant with their packaging and delivery. This is a game for all ages. I recommend this game to everyone who likes a different slant on Dominos.
