Are you wasting your money?
I bought three rolls of these LEDs and set them up in a dark space and had a variety of seedlings in the middle. ranging from bean to tomato seedlings. These LEDs did not have any effect on the plants. The reason why I believe a lot of people are having good reviews is that their plants are by the windows. You can see in a variety of these that the plants are not growing towards the light. So under my conditions, these led lights have not proven effective. I encourage you to experiment for yourself if you have the time and the money. Please leave a comment if your results turned out better than mine. From my experience, as an engineering student, you need a diode that is brighter and is much more expensive than this as seen here in the following link. Then a lense is needed to protect the led and focus the light. https://www.amazon.com/world-380-840nm-Spectrum-Module-Light/dp/B015PV92UM. Which might be why these LEDs do not work. I encourage people to experiment, however, because if this is truly a better alternative it is a good buy. Unfortunately, based on my findings the plant was unaffected by this product.

Great growing lights
Used in a fish tank, works great especially since it is a damp (wet) environment

I didn't even get all the parts!
I ordered two sets. I only got the lights, no dimmer or power cords. Absolutely horrible. I'll be returning them.

Doesn't grow plants well.
It will get some seeds to germinate, but it doesn't seem to provide actual growing light for plants. It gets really warm though, so it can double as a heater.
