GHS Strings A6 GHS Gorgomyte Cloth

If you want frets to look & feel like glass Gorgomyte is the stuff for you , check out some YouTube video tutorials first because I wasn't sure about it as its quite expensive.You only need a square the size of a postage stamp to polish your frets then use a good quality microfiber cloth after they will come up super shiny like glass .One cloth lasts ages unless you are cleaning loads of guitars every week I can definitely recommend using Gorgomyte every few months on your frets .A☆☆☆☆☆

Great cleaning cloth for any instrument with frets. Don't get it on your strings though!

With little effort, the results were remarkable (even on my most neglected guitars): pristine frets and blissfully smooth fretboards! Plenty of useful tips on YouTube about using it to best effect.

Pricey, but a good maintenance tool for well kept guitars. However, this will not nourish rosewood/ebony 'boards enough in the long term to replace lemon oil completely. Especially if your instrument is kept out of its case in a central heated/air conditioned room.

Cleaned up an old faded les paul with this and looks like new & straight out of the factory.

They have changed the formula from what it once was. I used to swear by this but now it does little more than buff the frets. Not good for the fretboard at all now.

Incredible stuff! Forget scratching away with razor blades and steel wool, this stuff is a miracle in cloth form. It cleans fret board and frets are left gleaming. It also then conditions the fret board to keep the wood healthy, which in turn makes your guitar sound/play better and keeps strings fresher longer. Will not be hitting anything else from now on for fret board cleaning and conditioning. I am sold! 10/10

I love the time this product save for a standard clean ups. Even heavy soiled fretboards clean up near perfect 👌

Perhaps a tad more expensive than I would prefer to pay as it will only clean about 7-9 guitars before it is no longer usable. At least that was my experience and to be fair these were guitars that required extensive fret cleaning due to oxidation. That being said, it did a GREAT job, and I have re ordered these clothes as needed. So netting it out, this is a great product that I wish was slightly lower in cost, but such is life. Recommended for those dirty fretboards (you know who you are).

Excellent product makes fretboard cleaning much quicker.I do advise for rosewood and ebony boards to still do a conditioning after for optimal effect.

I've used this on my new-to-20-year-old guitars for a few years now. Does a great job cleaning and does an even better job refreshing fretboards.Last week I gave a square to my instructor who was changing strings for another student on a really beat up old Yamaha. He was so impressed he's bought a pack and is using it on all his vintage stuff.More Q&A on the Gorgomyte site (just add dot com to the name)I cut it into 2" squares, put on in a sealed baggie in my travel kit and leave the rest in the heavier plastic bag it comes in. One 2" square will clean a neck, I do it every time I change strings.
