Grandsons birthday present
I opened the box and didn’t know what I was looking at, lol handed it to my grandson and husband and they were excited to get building! They knew what everything was! Made my grandson happy!

Great alternative to OEM Lego
This being my first dive into motors for Lego Technic sets, I have no point of reference. Being non-OEM, these felt a bit cheap, but they look well-made. My only real qualm was that the packet of U-joints were not assembled and I had to assemble them myself, which was a real pain.Otherwise, great set of motors and controls.

Son loves this kit!
My son plays with these motors constantly and invents all kinds of wonderful Lego creations with them. Five stars!

Didn't hold up
Can't back to reduce stars because one of the motors failed after the return window closed. Be careful of these generic parts. Some don't last long

Work well but not with actual Lego remotes
I have a big collection of Lego Power Functions as well as multiple alternate brand motor/remote sets. These work fine - as long as you keep them separate from other ones. For some reason, all the alt-brand remotes do not work with each other or with real Lego parts. They'll work with the motors and batteries and axles, but the remote controls and receivers are not interchangeable. You MUST keep them paired up. This makes no sense to me. Lego has openly published their Power Functions remote codes - I've built my own devices that control Lego trains over infrared! But these use different codes, so they won't control an actual Lego receiver, and these will not be controlled by an actual Lego controller. Very annoying if you already have some. But considering how much cheaper these are than actual Lego Power Functions (especially since Lego doesn't make them anymore!) it's worth the hassle. Just use a marker or label to pair up remotes/receivers so you know which ones go together.

Power connector imperfect tolerances
This kit has great variety with one of every type of motor plus battery boxes, a switch, an IR train style remote, and wired LEDs. Unfortunately the connector tolerances could be better. All the parts work in at least one configuration, but not every electrical connector makes electrical contact. The electrical connectors (even ones that do work) kind of mush together instead of positively clicking into place like they should. The LED module has brittle clear plastic that arrived cracked (they still work though). The U-joints came fully disassembled and are very fiddly to put together. The axles, shocks, and U-joints all fit as they should, but this set is really for the electrical components. This set also only has an IR remote and AA/AAA battery boxes (no batteries included). The lithium rechargeable 4 motor boxes with true wireless remotes can be had for the same price and are better.

Not user friendly, no instructions and don’t click together well
Firstly - there are zero instructions. I assumed there would be something. Even a paper with suggested uses for what parts connect to what and used for what function. There is a switch-like part that doesn’t work and I don’t know if it doesn’t work because it is broken or if we are not connecting it to the right things. The connecting/clicking isn’t the best. Sometimes it just somehow pushes the connection back apart (it slides up). The controller has zero instructions so we don’t know what movement controls what. Not user friendly for a first timer trying to help my interested little boy take his legos to another level. If there was even a little guidance or a booklet of a few suggestions for how to use things it would make this user friendly but now we just have a pile of motors and wires we don’t know what to do with.
