Easy assembly, good results, don't forget to prime the filters
This was a great purchase, but let me start with a tip for new buyers (like me) who have not used one of these gravity systems before. You'll want to rinse the ceramic filters first (I did) and prime them by forcing water through it backwards (I didn't). This was a difficult thing to do, since I didn't have any rubber hoses or attachments I could use to prime the filters. I suppose I could have installed them upside down first and then put some water through it.So, I didn't prime them, and I ended up with an air pocket in the filter. This means it was taking hours and hours to filter through.Do not panic though, I surmised (and I was proven right) that if I just left it alone, it would work itself out. After the 2nd run through, it's now filtering as expected. The instructions were a bit vague about the silicone washers when mounting the spicket. After a little experimentation, I decided to place 1 silicone washer on the inside, and one on the outside. This appears to work, because I have no leaks. The seller proactively reached out to me to ask if I needed any assistance or had any questions. By that time, I didn't. It's working fine, but it was nice that they asked.Ok, but how good is it?The water in my area is acceptable, but it does have a slight chlorine smell. Nothing really bad (not like Florida water). After running this through the filter, it has no smell at all. It tastes good, and I use it to fill my Keurig machine (I love that machine). The overall build is not cheap, it's a good sturdy device. It's completely uncomplicated. The price was acceptable. I would recommend this to a friend.

Super deluxe!!
I had been looking at gravity fed water filters recently as an alternative to attempting to store hundreds of gallons of emergency water. Then came Prime’s lightning sale. I couldn’t pass up such a sublime deal. It arrived almost before I could warn my wife about it. Oops.Unboxing was a breeze. The filter was very well packed and heavy duty. Though I purchased the basic model, I was impressed by everything. Namely: the gauge of the stainless steel upper and lower bodies was much beefier than expected; the rubberized base ring is chonky and appears as if it will last many years; the stainless steel spigot feels good to operate as it feels solid and dependable; and the filters were beautiful. No joke. They look exceptional in their quality. Though the 2.25g unit only comes with two filters, the unit has four holes for filters. I’m planning on just picking up two more filters to extend the unit’s longevity between filter replacements. As it stands, it makes great tasting water. Waaaaay better than bottled mountain spring water. I set it on the edge of our sink and just used the spout to fill the top. It took about ten minutes to filter enough water to flow freely from the spigot. I was blown away by how refreshingly crisp the water tasted. Ive been wasting so much money on bottled water and expending effort to recycle, when in truth I could have bought one of these years ago!Mine cost me $107 plus tax with their lightning deal. My two regrets are not getting the stand as well as the spigot that shows you how full the reservoir is, but the deal didn’t make include those items at the lowest tier. Knowing what I now know, I would have paid the extra $20-$30 dollars are done it right. I fully recommend this product and find it to be elegant, super inexpensive if you consider the volume of water that it will treat before new filters are needed, and it’s collapsible design for taking it on outings with the family. It is well built and should last for generations.

Cleaner water easy at hand
Stainless Steel, easy to assemble, and clean, and use. The price is very reasonable on this unit, every thing included unlike competiter. I like the stainless spout versus plastic, the see through water level gauge and the streamline stainless stand. The ceramic filters are a preference over charcoal - wash and rough up with brush and good to use again no need to constantly replace. I wash a couple times a year and the stainless steel never gets grundged. This is my 2nd water filter system, the other one from the competitor brand, looks and functions exactly the same. That one has served me well for 14 years. Having 2 keeps additional water on hand for guest times and more importantly emergency utility outages and evacuations. Enviornmentally efficient, no bottles to recyle and caryy, no purchase of outside water required. In emergency, times I fill water containers with gallons of water to filter through the fachioo water filter system. Thank you for providing a reasonable price and quality product.

Offgrid use of this filtration unit
The unit itself is good and of fairly sturdy build. The spigot leaked until we added 2 additional gaskets. The stand is super tiny and not suited for our use on this, but we found a completely different use for it. Overall the water comes out clean and taste good. We put really clean water in, and would not recommend for any water that isn't mainly clean going in.

Buy this one (cheaper) and then buy quality filters
Great substitute for the value to the big brand ones. They all do the same, just paying for the name. I would however recommend, buying this cheaper version and then buying quality filters from the higher quality filter companies. The filters do fit (which was my worry).
