Good product for the money

Its nice and heavy. Feels secure even with the wood splitting everwhere. One foot peice was split on the end at delivery. I sent an email and they replied to send picrures. My fault, Christmas time and forgotten about till my wife brought it out this spring. She noticed the foot but didnt notice the splitting elsewhere. I've sent several emails now and have not recieved a reply. It could be lost in the Amazon system. Amazon blocked my last email because of an issue with an attachment.My wife loves this and it was one of her favorite Christmas presents that I've gotten her. When made right that will reflect in the rating. So far I give Petra and Amazon one star.Edit: The guys at Petra have not been recieving my messages via the Amazon system. They did see the above review and contacted me directly. They were quick to replace the defective stand with a new one.I do believe my experience with the wood splitting is not typical but non the less I'll be looking into adding an additional coating to protect this beautiful stand.The wife is happy again and you know how the saying goes. Thanks again to Petra for making this right even outside of the normal return timeframe.

I bought this as an early Father’s Day gift for myself. Very heavy duty and love the coffee color wood. Easy to assemble but you need a pair of needle nose plyers and a socket wrench to make is easier. I assembled in under 30 minutes. I was going to build one, but for 219 bucks it’s not worth it. Very impressed with the quality even the hardware is heavy duty. Can’t wait for the rain to stop in NJ so I can relax by the pool on this thing. Great buy and a great idea for Dad for Father’s Day.

This is a great item. Arrives in one box. Six beams and two cross bars, plus hardware for assembly. I sprayed all with outdoor polyurethane before assembly, and then again after to protect against rain. Assembly was straightforward. Helps to have some tools like a socket driver, but could (in theory) be done with crappy wrenches sent in package.Item is very solid. I am 295 pounds and I feel safe on it. It’s beautiful and the price is fantastic. Very happy with this purchase.

This frame is super heavy which is what I wanted but it still tipped over with just 150lb person getting in it. Also, I have 3 different size hammocks and this frame didn’t work with any of them. To return it I have to pay the return shipping which is half the price of the frame because it’s a huge box and weighs 100lbs. On top of that the seller charges a 20% restocking fee.

It is a good product, everything is as stated. The assembly is simple and everything fits as it should. It is a very robust stand. Since we use it in the yard, I mounted 4" wheels to either end just beyond the base. Now we can move it easily by lifting one end and letting it ride on the wheel. One person can move it.

Looks great. Works great with our Pawley's Island hammock. Since it's wood, I did paint the surface with polyurethane before assembly.

Beautifully crafted and very sturdy! Very pleased with this purchase. Does take two people to assemble for leverage.
