These Global Gumball gummy eyeballs taste fresh. The white part has a unique fruity flavor -- similar to litchi (a.k.a. lychee). Inside is a red jam filling, which is supposed to be peach but doesn't really taste peach to me. I like them, but my 9-year-old son just thought they were okay.The most fun part to me is the eyeball design, although that might creep some kids out. Mine was reluctant to try them. I think they would be fun for a Halloween display or party favor.There are 17 pieces in the jar, and each is individually wrapped and has a date stamped on it, which is the same as the best by date given on my jar. It's only about 6 months from when I ordered, so I recommend ordering close to when you'll need them.

First and foremost I was concerned about the packaging a little bit which is what caused me to drop a star on this - though these are individually packages and VERY hard to open - even as an adult - there is no tamperproof seal on the can itself. Though we don't expect any wrongdoing in packaging, warehousing, etc- having a tamper proof seal would make me feel more confident with giving this candy out.From a taste perspective it was hard to distinguish the flavor between the three different ones in the package, and nowhere did it tell you what color was what flavor - we had blue, white and yellow. One was lychee, one was watermelon and one was sweet cheese. All of which, aside from the jam inside, tasted alike. Very mochi-like in a sense that it's very chewy and was hard for my 3yo to chew even when cut into pieces - the package does state for 5yo and older, so no fault there.I'm sure if I was a 10 year old getting these for 5 tickets each at an arcade I would absolutely love them, but unfortunately they didn't make the cut for us as a packable snack option.

My tween and I normally love gummies, but neither of us liked these gummy pandas. The gummy candy was overly sweet, and I really like sweet stuff. It had a bit of a foamy gummy texture that we didn't enjoy. The peach 'jam' in the middle was more like a gel. I liked the flavor of that but tween didn't. The panda design is only on the container that the gummy is in, not on the candy itself. Most frustrating was the packaging. It was so difficult to open, we couldn't just pull it apart to get to the candy. My tween cou7ldn't open it at all, I could get it opened a little but not all the way. We ended up struggling with scissors to get to the candy. Wouldn't recommend these at all, we won't eat any more than the 1 we tried.

These are really fun candies. I like how they come in a sealed container and each gummy is individually sealed. This makes them as fresh as when they were packed. They are a gooey, solid, gummy that has a delicious jam in the middle. Very tasty and perfect as a treat, for the watermelon lover. These will be great to take on outings, a treat in the lunch box or a party. The reusable jar is great to pack extra candy in, when it is empty.

Basically this is a thick gummy ball with jelly on the inside. The packaging puts a "face" on the ball. It's fun to see which panda face you'll get.The gummy portion of this is very strong, which it must be to contain the jelly. It's a nice lychee flavor and not overly sweet. The peach jelly inside is delicious.

Review of Global Gumball Gummy Candy for Kids. These candies are very chewy and slightly sweet. The packaging is super cute, with each coming in its own panda-painted plastic "gumball." I wish the casings were more climate-friendly, as they result in a lot of trash at the end of the day. My 7 y.o. daughter and I also found them to be a bit of a challenge to pull open, resulting in us both using our teeth to generate enough force (don't tell my dentist!). The gummy litchee has an inoffensive, subtle sweetness which my daughter enjoyed. She was not nearly so fond of the peach jelly inside, however, which has that distinct fake-peach flavor that can be a bit much (anyone recall that peach soda that was around in the early 2000s? It tasted a bit like that). Ultimately, she decided not to finish her gummy. I was content with mine, but bit and chewed up the peach part without tasting it much. Overall, these are a unique candy offering that will please the more adventurous kid. The variety of flavors and designs is a charming choice, but I wish the presentation was more thoughtful (e.g., less plastic).
