Excellent !
I am a professional mechanic of 40 years. I have purchased many air hammers over the years and paid over $300 off the tool truck with fabled promises that they are The most powerful beast of an air hammer ever made. Been disappointed every time. So this time I figured "what have I got to loose?" I purchased this hammer and have been very satisfied! I am not going to tell you this thing is the strongest hammer ever made simply because I dont believe there is any test that could prove such a silly statement. All I can tell you is it works as good as any one I have ever used and it is a fraction of the price.

Great for tuck pointing my brick chimney.
This tool is exactly what I needed for chiseling the old mortar out of the joints in my brick chimney. I got more done in an hour than I'd accomplished in a day and a half working with a hammer and tuck pointing chisel. It is strong enough to work quickly, but small enough to avoid damaging the bricks and I worked with it for three hours straight without fatigue. If one were doing demolition alone, they might want a more powerful hammer, but they'd also need a bigger compressor. My Ingersoll Rand P1IU-A9 Hand Carry Twinstack 2-HP Compressor (3.2 CFM @90 psi) kept up enough for me to keep working with short breaks to stretch and change position. If one were re-pointing a large wall and had scaffolding to move easily, they'd probably find that they'd want a slightly stronger compressor.

Hammer Down!
This CP product is perfect for home and light industrial. Although the tool is made in the pacific-rim, it has been produced to high quality control standards. The CP logo is a decal and is not cast into the body (as most of their products). It is comfortable in the hand and easy to control. The box is a great storage option as many other brands give you a flimsy plastic tray. The tool selection is limited, but a great starter pack. I love the quick release chuck as well! Overall, this product is a very good value from the top producer of pneumatic tools.

Does what I need it to do, wish the trigger was sensitive with how much button throttle is given. Great beater air hammer

Worked great
Couldn't remove some stubborn suspension bolts. Went through 2 different harbor freight air hammers, along with hours of heating, pb blaster, and hammering with a 10lb hammer without success. This air hammer had both bolts out in less than 20min! As a disclaimer, I did run it higher than manufacturer recommended PSI from the start based on some other reviews because I was on my last leg and about to give up on the job. I don't know if I would have had success running at recommended PSI.

Hard hitting air hammer
I have owned the original 715 zip gun that was already in well used condition when I acquired it 15 years ago. I used it while working on cars. Worked particularly well when installing "A" arm suspension bushings and cutting rivets on the radius arm bushing bracket on Ford trucks. I now work on semi-trailers. This past week I was replacing half of the bottom rail, side skins and uprights on a wrecked trailer, which are all attached with rivets (by the hundreds). My original 715 finally cracked its case. Although it still works, the barrel works loose too easy. I ordered this one and finished the job. This one appears to be as well built as my first one. I expect it to last another 15-20 years. If you are considering buying this gun, you need to realize that this is a long barrel model that doesn't hit as fast, but does hit harder. If you need a little more control, a short barrel model may be more to your liking. We use short barrel ones for setting buck type rivets.

Cp7150 is a powerful hammer
I used this to remove the rear wheels from 2 MTD riding mowers. I tried to remove them with a puller, tried to pry them off, even used another brand air hammer and nothing would budge them. I used this one and it took them off with ease. You do have to hold it a little tighter than others because it packs a powerful punch. I'm going to try it on a 2014 Taurus that the hub is froze to the knuckle and the axle is froze in the hub and bearing. I've tried oem hub pullers that failed, claw pullers that failed, and 2 other air hammers that failed. Hopefully this air hammer will push the axle out and remove the hub from the knuckle.

Great tool and price along with 2 day delivery to my house. I have used to chisel stucco on our house and have most of it off in a couple of weeks of part time usage. About 1000 sq feet of wall to make chisel lines both vertically and horizontally, then just rip off in big chunks. The longer stroke definitely gives it more power to break through the stucco. I had used one with a 2 5/8" stoke and you could tell the difference big time. For the cost it has saved me a ton of labor. Would highly recommend. I would also recommend getting a extra spring or two as I had just broken mine today. I had the Zip change spring on mine. Item 17c on the parts drawing that came with the chisel.

I currently own this air hammer and a IR 1445GC. After being incredibly disappointed by the IR I decided to get a proper air hammer for automotive work. Believe me you don't want to deal with short barrels, save yourself the money and jump into a long barrel. This CP has a lot of beans and was able to drive out rivets for upper ball joints and also shear them off my chisel attachment. This air hammer hasn't had any problems separating ball joints with a pickle fork. This is a great tool for the DIY or even the starting technician, you will not be disappointed.
