Great for swim team. XS fits my slender 7 yr old great. Slightly baggy around inseam. But ok. Material is think which will hopefully help it hold up well to the chlorine.

My son wears size 8/9/medium but I ordered size small after reading the reviews that said these jammers run big. The size small was still too loose in the crotch and slightly loose in the legs. The waist tie is also bulky and doesn’t hide very well. The quality appeared ok, not too thin, but since the fit was off we returned it.

Good material. Colors haven’t faded and son wears them to swim team often. Fit wells.

I have a son with Autism-ADHD and he is very sensitive to seems, loose floppy clothing, drawstrings.... he fussed so bad about regular swim shorts because of how they felt without underwear and how floppy they are in the water when air bubbles go up the leg. We let him try regular sweat short but he fussed that they fell down and that it wasn't tied tight enough. So I came across this pair and he loves them. At first he saw the drawstring and fussed but I pulled tge drawstring out and he LOVES this swim shorts. As a mom with special needs kids life can be challenging so little things like this make for less meltdowns and happier days.
