Taste good
After experimenting, I learned that I got better results by first putting the chocolate mix, milk, and espresso in my electric milk frother without heat. I use the mixing whisk and not the frothing whisk. Mix it for a cycle, then add the mixture to the blender with ice. Works well, has a thin milk shake consistency as guar gum is a thickener. This recipe makes about 24 ounces of blended mocha.4 ounce espresso4 ounce milk4 tablespoons chocolate mix14-16 ounces crushed ice

Love the cocoa, not the packaging.
I found this cocoa at Bristol Farms while looking for a healthier cocoa without the partially hydrogenated oils in most of them. I love the spiciness of this cocoa and put half a scoop in my coffee every morning. I don't drink straight coffee so I carry this powder with me when I travel too.I was thrilled to find this item on amazon after Bristol Farms ran out for a while. I have received a few of the 25 lb boxes with no problems, but my last $113 box is in the trash after I cut the plastic tie and found baby silverfish in it. These bags are not sealed, just have a plastic tie aroung the bag opening so lots of tiny things can crawl in. I know we have silverfish here at my husband's house, but now that I have just thrown $100 in the trash I wonder why they can't seal these bags? I'm going to have to start buying a smaller quantity and just pay more per ounce so this doesn't happen again. Unless a few people are drinking this or you only have one serving a day you need to plan for storage of this powder for quite a while.

My Husbands New Favorite Frappe!
I recently purchased the Mocafe Organic Mocha Frappe and loved it, so I decided to purchase the Vanilla for my husband (who prefers vanilla over mocha). He loves it, and although I still prefer the Mocha, I think the vanilla tastes great too. The best part is it tastes great and doesn't contain all the artificial flavor, colors, and perservatives that all the other mixes contain (I have been looking for two years now). I am so glad I finally found an organic frappe that tastes good.

Best Cocoa with a 'kick'
My wife first experienced this 'mega-mocha with macho' from our corner espresso stand and was immediately a fan. Realizing that she was gonna spend a fortune on this Mayan concoction, I persuaded the local barista to tell me her secret recipe which includes this product. Now, for a fraction of the price, my wife can enjoy this Spiced Chocolate in her coffee whenever the mood strikes. If you haven't tried chocolate with a 'charge' you may want to explore the taste at your local espresso bar. It is definitely an adult recipe for sweet chocolate lager with a cinnamon/chili pepper blend of spices. I normally don't add anything to my espresso-strength coffee; but, just to know what she was experiencing, I tried adding a teaspoon to mine and I must say it does add something special... turns an after dinner brew into a dessert cup that satisfies both caffeine and chocolate cravings. Last but not least, buying in bulk is the best deal; reducing the cost by about half. I repackage the 25 pounds box into smaller size seal-a-meal style plastic bags and can store them much longer.

COFFEE POWDER SHIPPED IN THIN BAG WITH TIE IN A BOX WITH POWDER INSIDE & BUGS
Disgusting! Who would ship a coffee product like this? Really?! Beware if coffee shops are serving you this organic coffee. The organic part may be bugs.

The best Mexican mocha powder
We discovered a cafe that had excellent Mexican mochas about three years ago. They were expensive but we didn't visit that often. Then we discovered this was the powder used to make the mochas. It is all natural and tastes great. It is really rich and has nice spicy undertones. This is the cheapest way to purchase it in bulk. Now we make our mochas at home with an espresso machine and steamed milk. This also is loved by our children for hot chocolate.

Fair-trade and Organic!
It's almost impossible to find a powder-based blended drink mix that's organic and fair-trade. This one is both, and it works like a charm. You'll need to play a bit with the portioning - in our coffeeshop, we use a single short shot of espresso, plus 2 ounces of milk, and roughly 20 ounces of ice to make a 16 oz. blended drink. Very popular in the 100% mid-Atlantic summers ...
