International Version X110 Bundle (256gb SD Card) Works Great in US for Me
I was cautious when purchasing this based on other reviews. Until I read all reviews These are the Pros and Cons I have found. PROS: I purchased the Samsung A7Lite for my DJI drone works great but only 32BG Storage. I wanted a 64bg version but not available in US Version. I read reviews and came up with this setup option. I Chose English language with South Africa for region. Since I have a Samsung Phone I used the Smart Switch app to transfer settings, and apps. (PRO and CON) First I selected transfer all: This was a mistake because I filled the memory quickly with images, music, documents ect. I deleted all images and most documents. Music and docs I moved to the Bundled 256gb SD card. This created a mirror image of my Samsung Ultra 24 phone (PRO & CON) But very familiar. After setup I deleted unwanted apps and cleaned trash and found an acceptable balance of favorite apps and free storage space. Overall works very well, does not seem to bog down like old Lenovo 8" 16gb that this is replacing. CONS: You have to watch the file transfer for battery life and time always longer than first estimate. But Used wifi and chargers and went to bed to allow tablet to transfer from phone. Storage fills up pretty fast with apps and system functions. No warranty was a slight concern but seller has a decent DOA and free return policy. As long as it makes through the burn in time (first 48hrs) they are usually good. Overall Review: Works well, as good as other Samsung products. Smart Switch was great! After setup could not tell it was international version all settings mirrored phone. It was a good price, good product and easy setup with other Samsung products.

Good for readers
Excellent tablet for what I mean to use it (reading books and epubs on ebook reader apps and reading mangas. Browsing the internet as well. It's fast though I have not updated the OS since I got it. Storage capacity on the tablet itself is 64GB which is pretty good but i also have an sd card of 256GB. I also use Facebook on it, and Whatsapp. However, I don't think it does well with games. But for my uses, it's perfect

Yay it works!
It does what it needed to. Beware this was some weird international version and I had to do some weird stuff getting it to work in the USA. Eventually after signing in to google it straightened out. Got it for around $120 which at the time was a good value. It functions better than most other units in this price range. Battery life is great and the standby time is several days.

Region Locked does not mean can't use in the US
This device is region locked to South America. That's what "International Model" means. Region locked does not prevent you from using the device in the US or with your US based google account. The negative reviews about this are unfair, because it clearly states what it is in the description. Even if you did not read the description properly, this is Amazon where you can return the device. As for the device itself, it serves its purpose fine for us. We are using it for a simple kiosk timeclock app.

Worst Samsung tablet I've ever owned
This is maybe my 4th Samsung tablet. It's getting harder to find the small sized ones so I decided to try this after seeing all the good reviews. Starts slow, takes forever to load anything, completely boggy wifi even with a strong signal & standing right next to my router. I have never been so disappointed in a tablet. I expected the bloatware from Samsung but not the terrible performance. After this, I'm about ready to give up on this brand & try something else. I regret this purchase & consider it wasted money.

Well mine was a Middle East/Africa region, works perfect in the US
So you turn on your new A9 8.7" 'International" tablet, select English (US) as the language, and the next page asks you to select your country... This is an "INTERNATIONAL" tablet, preprogrammed for some region or other, guaranteed NOT THE US because this tablet wasn't really available in the US. Now what? First things first, make sure you have a Google (gmail) and a Samsung account made in advance. If you have an Android phone you already have a Google account, if it's a Samsung then you're golden. Now select random or cool country from the list. Mine was Middle East and Africa so I chose the least unfriendly country on the list. Continue letting the tablet reset. Now it's going to ask if you want to synch with your Android phone or enter your accounts manually, do whichever floats your boat but using the smart synch feature is easiest. Finally once the tablet loads, if by some chance the 'location' setting is turned off, switch it on. Ta-Daaaa! You're now using your A9 8.7" International tablet in the US. You're welcome. 🙂

weird region options but ok
the inly regions available were in Africa and the middle east. I almost sent it back but decided not to. (I'm in the USA)... thenregion thing was a non issue. I'm a pilot and use the tablet to run the Garmin Pilot app in my airplane, and this thing is ideal, way faster than the A7 I had previously, and I can pull up any needed charts instantly. so definitely a good unit.
