It completely blocks out the sun! We were in the Bahamas and my mom sat under this and another parasol when we went to the beach. You could feel the temperature difference under vs outside of the coverage. It’s also sturdy, strong feeling and works as a great umbrella. Literally the only con is the horrendous smell that comes off it when you unpack it. Both the parasol and its cute carrying case stunk to high heavens. The smell came off the case after airing it out on the balcony overnight, but the parasol took about 3 days outside to clear the smell. Still giving it 5 stars because it’s basically perfect and the smell doesn’t affect use of this parasol, especially when it’s high above your head.

I used it during travel & in the intense hot summer days this came as a life saver. The product is sturdy, the umbrella is well-made with nice & thick material blocking sun rays. Heat is not transmitted while holding the umbrella & standing outside at noon time while the sun is at it's best in the hot summer day. Design: has a nice mellow bluish color & it is so appealing to the eyes. The color doesn't stand out in the crowd. Protection : material is good/high quality and keeps the UV rays away, & I felt the protection Open / Close : with the dual button to either open or collapse partially & then manually close it fully is good. I didn't feel the need to put in extra pressure. Price : decent price. Surely my recommended product.

Love this for going to amusement parks!! The only downfall is that it sets off the metal detectors everytime we go. Other than this minor inconvenience this is a great umbrella.

I bought this umbrella on vacation, because I had to sit in the sun on various occasions to watch my grandchildren‘s sport events. It definitely protected me from the Texas sun and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use it to create shade. It opens and collapses on the push of a button and a small enough to fit in your purse. Great buy!

Broke after 5 uses. Button doesn’t work. I press down on it and it does not move. Wish I could also manually open the umbrella instead of relying on the button solely to be able to open it. Now it’s completely useless while being brand new.

Works well and is a good size but has a strong smell

Great product, absolutely blocks out the sun. I take it along on the field while watching my grandson soccer practice. Fits perfectly in my bag.

I like the material. It doesn't feel flimsy. It seems very durable & the design is simple and pretty. It's lightweight and easy to carry. Fits nicely in my car's console.
