I haven't had this cane long - so far so good. It seems as sturdy as my wooden cane, and is lighter than steel ones.I looked through all the reviews, looking for instructions on how to CHANGE THE BASE. It comes with a 4-footed thing, which I don't care for, and a single rubber base.To REMOVE the 4-foted thing, hold the cane bottom shaft and UNSCREW the foot.The single rubber foot is simply pushed onto the shaft.When changing to the single foot, the cane is shorter than with the 4-footed, so you may need to lengthen it one click.

I purchased this product on March 2, 2024. It is a foldable cane. There is a cable inside of the cane that (a) operates the folding feature and (b) keeps the various sections of their cane together. After one week of use, the cable broke, causing the user to fall into a wall. The product was replaced on March 28, 2024. Five and a half month later the same thing happened. The cable snapped. Fortunately no serious injury. But, the potential for such an injury is there given the faulty nature of the product. And, for the record, the user was 150 pounds or so lighter than the maximum rating for this product. Buyer beware!

Best light weight cane I’ve seen. Well worththe cost.

Works better than expected. Stores easily, is solid when put together and is easy to use for balance when needed.

Recovering from a hip procedure and the cane has worked very well. The cane will stand on its own while I brush my teeth. The carbon fiber construction seems a little lighter than one made of aluminum.

This is a very nice sturdy cane. It is held together by a stretch cord and when the pieces are connected it is solid. The carbon fiber is lightweight and strong. The quad foot also seems to give a little bounce when you push off. There is a plastic piece that keeps the folded pieces together to store easier and also a single foot that you can replace the quad with, which should make it even lighter. The only weakness or point of failure for this is the stretch cord that keeps it together. But even then it is not time to trash it because you can still use it by just sliding the pieces together. Very helpful aid in walking.

I bought this for traveling purposes because it folded up. I only took it apart 3 times and the elastic string that holds the 3 sections together when upright broke. Had to duct tape 3 places to use and it looks terrible.
