This is a beautiful fan that is perfect for decorating, costumes, fancy or casual occasions, any time really! My daughter really loves this fan too and it's also perfect for keeping cool too!

I bought this for my wedding and was very disappointed to see that the material is some kind of bamboo that bended easily. The lace was O.K., but the way in which the fan is structured made no sense. I collect hand fans and it was a pity that a better product could not be developed. When the fan was closed, no hard edges protected it at each end, but the same flexible sticks used for the rest of the structure. Fortunately mine got lost in the party and will not see it again.

This fan took almost a month to reach me, but it was worth it. The lace is a crisp, clean white and pairs well with the light bamboo. It doesn't have a smooth open and close due to the thickness of the lace, but that just means you have to manually ease the sticks back together to close it. There's a white tassel at the end for a little extra ornamentation. I ordered this fan to keep on hand during the summer because I love the idea of just whipping out a fan and adding some unexpected glamour (or drama 😏) to any situation. It's too long to fit into a typical clutch, but will fit into most handbags and small purses.
