Good and exciting
Story was a little confusing at times, but overall came together at the end. I enjoyed it and will continue to read all that Wilbur Smith writes.

Courtney family , more origins.
A bit slow to start. If you have read Smithโs other Courtney books you quickly understand the time frames and new characters. Then you are completely absorbed in Wilbur Smithโs latest history about the Courtneys

Surprisingly Great Read!
I must admit that after the lukewarm "Storm Tide" that this book was a real page turner. I my opinion, it is in the top 10 of the Courtney Books. Wilbur Smith would have been proud of this effort. The story revolves around two separate plot lines that nicely come together at the end. I hope that the story line will continue into the future.

Not the Wilbur Smith I know
I have been a Wilbur Smith fan ever since I found a copy of When the Lion Feeds in a room at high school. I grew up in South Africa and this book was banned at the time, don't ask me why. I loved all his Books up until the Egyptian novels as I don't particularly care for magic etc. His characters were always well defined and the story was always believable especially for a student of history. However I found Nemesis reads like a schoolboy novel, Characters who always seem to suddenly develop various skills and abilities almost leaning towards super powers or indestructibility when needed, Unbelievable plot lines did not help either. As a long time fan was very disappointed.

Another brilliant Wilbur Smith
An amazingly entertaining read, so descriptive and so beautifully written. There are several stories in one which I initially found difficult to absorb but only this master story writer could bring them all together so well. Sorry to have finished it. One of the very best
