These kits are very helpful, as well as very simple to assemble. They have detailed instructions and all the accessories you need to make a whole lamp assembly including the shade bracket! I am a welder/fabricator and decided to give something new a try! These kits made it super easy to make a DIY lamp and I am super pleased for the price and quality!

The rewiring set did the job considering that it was my first time rewiring a lamp. The Instructions were clear and the cord was long enough that left me with a little slack for the oversized floor lamp.

The kit is good quality and it came with extra parts. I knew nothing whatsoever about replacing parts in a lamp. I had an antique lamp that was nearly a hundred years old, very precious to me because it belonged to my grandparents. The directions that come with the kit are not so great if you know absolutely nothing about this type of thing. After about a couple of hours, I finally figured out how to use a couple of the parts so that the rod would fit tight inside the lamp base. I'm glad I didn't give up because now I have a working lamp. Again, the parts in this kit are good quality so I can recommend it for that. But you might need to find more precise instructions for all lamp types somewhere else.

I bought a vintage lamp at a thrift store but I wanted to update the wiring. This kit is pretty easy and straight forward to put together. Now my vintage lamp is good as new.

Great quality easy to use wire connectors might need to be pinched a little to fit a floor lamp.

This is an excellent lamp kit. Used this for my recent side table project. worked great and very impressed for the money.
