These gloves are a lifesaver, actually, a finger saver. After some nasty cuts with knives and a mandolin, these were the perfect solution. They are comfortable and are pretty cut resistant. They are a good value for the money and do not weigh too much.

I learned that hard way that one should always wear cut-resistant gloves when using a mandolin to slice food. After 3 stitches, I will never use my mandolin without wearing them again! Mandolins are excellent kitchen tools, especially for thin slices and even slicing. But these gloves are necessary to use this tool safely. They fit well and are easy to wear while slicing.

Have two different pairs of gloves from this company that I use for wood carving. My original pair has a black rubbery coating which greatly improves the grip. Unfortunately the black coating causes my wood carvings to get black. I tried these to see if they would work. They do not make my carvings black, but the carvings are hard to hold. I wish they would add a coating to the gloves so they would be non-slip but not make my work dirty. I love the fit and comfort. The cut resistance seems great.

These gloves were PERFECT for protecting your fingers while cracking crab! I sat cracking crab for over 5 hours today and my fingers aren't tore up or sore at all! I've used gloves before while cracking, but the shells would rip the gloves or tear the non skid off of them. These were still PERFECT after 5 hours and 22 crabs! No rips, tears, and they look as if I just opened them! Only thing is, I had to wear nitrile gloves underneath of these because the juice from the crab still seeps through and my hands got all wet and sticky. But with the nitrile underneath, it was perfect! These were a LIFE SAVER!!!

I do a lot of dehydrating and wanted a glove to protect my hands when using the mandolin. Works great, already has saved my hands as I was doing the apples! The size fit perfect.

I haven’t tried using them but they are tiny and don’t scream of protection. They seem like a lightish glove made of silver colored thread to give the impression of chain mail (which it is certainly not). If you do order these, order 1-2 sizes up. That means that if you actually need a large, find a different glove.
