This monitor is perfect for any photographer/videographer/artist looking to use it for editing. I needed a monitor that had Adobe RGB screen colour for my photography workflow. Although I was hesitant to spend this amount of money, I knew this would become a great investment for my growing career.The monitor is wonderfully designed. The screen tilts in various directions and I was surprised to see how many different cable types can plug in at the back, depending what ports you have on your computer or laptop. In fact in the box, BenQ provide you with every cable from HDMI, USB and Apple thunderbolt so that you do not need to worry about purchasing additional cables.In the top of the box there is an envelope provided by BenQ with an evaluation and proof of the calibrated screen, done by the company themselves. As a photographer I did decide to re-calibrate the screen myself using BenQ's own software, Palette Master Elements, to set the screen in a way that will be used for photographic editing before being send to a printer. Even better is that on Youtube and their website, there is a BenQ ambassador (artisright) who provides very detailed and fantastic explanations of the BenQ SW screen ranges and how to calibrate them using their own software. This made the whole experience so easy to set up and get started.This screen will be used a lot and I am very happy I made the decision to go for it and purchase this monitor. It was packaged well and you can tell it is a well built monitor.

Really pleased with my new monitor (PC & macbook). Good price from amazon as usual. This replaced a decent secondhand HP LP2480zx Dreamcolor monitor, an old 10 bit pro model, 24" but chunky and heavyI originally tried my old cables HDMI (18Gb/s) and I could not achieve RGB 4:4:4 10 bit output from my AMD Vega FE GPU. I also tried the enclosed cables, same problem, still only 8 bit outputHaving fiddled with my OLED tv and 4 k players before I thought about cables and purchased the KabelDirect 8k display port cable for 3m and rebooted, this fixed the problem immediately so use decent cables, don't assume the box ones are perfect.Next thing was to hardware calibrate the monitor via an i1Display pro . Watched Benq video on youtube and used same settings on the Benq palette master software (don't use 3rd party software), I achieved a delta E of 0.5 to 0.8 max which was better than the demo video.Even though it is a 27" monitor it isn't bulky, much smaller than my imac 27" and doesn't look much bigger than the HP it replaced. Overall very pleased and I would buy it again

Fantastic product

I bought this for photography based on its sRGB and Adobe coverage.The first two monitors I received had dead pixels which is a first for me when buying monitors. The 3rd was ok.Unfortunately, 13 months after receiving the monitor it started to fail - a flicker would begin in the dim areas of the screen then quickly spread to all areas.When it was working, I really enjoyed the colour reproduction and the puck. However, there does seem to be a slight vignetting on the lower edge which is noticeable when expanding a light window across the screen.All in all, it's really not what I expect from a £1000 monitor.

Excellent monitor for photographers.Great image quality.Make sure that you have the right cables, displayport cables have several standards... some only deliver FHD.Not that many of the negative reviews associated with this monitor on Amazon are for completely different monitors.

Visible pink/magenta colour cast when viewed from a slight angle, on my copy 30 degree. I normally work with a monitor around 50-55cm away from my eyes. This results in the pink/magenta colour cast being visible on both ends of the the monitor and had to go far as 80cm + away from it to reduce this issue. Not ideal when working on details images, editing them in black and white. I wasn't expecting poor viewing angels from an IPS screen, especially one of this calibre.Another main feature what made me buy this monitor was the ability to switch colour profiles on the fly along with the brightness (i.e. 80cm, 120cd etc). The problem with this is that when you do this, it does not switch the ICC profiles you've made to accompany you custom profiles, you had to do this manually on a pc.The Top panel hood has as slid-able slot that allows you to drop down a colour meter. In my case I have the Xrite Pro 1. The slot isn't big enough for it to fit through despite being stated as a support model. Granted I don't calibrate frequently but this can be an annoyance as you have 2 options, take the top panel off or thread the usb cable from below and up through the slot.I do look forward to the next iteration of this monitor and will likely get one if the above 3 issues are addressed.

Al hacer color pasar de un monitor "normal" que sea IPS a este con 10bits hay una gran diferencia, imagino que uno de gama alta ya seria otro cantar, pero con este ya se nota y sabes que estas haciendo una corrección correcta.

E' un monitor professionale, pre-tarato 100% RGB e 98% Adobe Rgb. Io ho comunque eseguito una nuova taratura usando uno Spyder 5 pro, e mi sembra che il risultato sia ottimo. E' costoso, ma per chi si occupa di fotografia è una spesa indispensabile per ottenere risultati di qualità. Lo sto usando senza problemi collegato ad un Mac Mini M1.

J'utilise l'écran depuis un peu moins de 3 semaines maintenant. Je l'utilise pour du montage vidéo principalement (Premiere pour le moment, peut-être Resolve ou FCPX prochainement), c'est mon retour principal, et aussi pour retoucher des photos sur Lightroom. Je suis monteur professionnel depuis plus de 10 ans.Je l'ai calibré avec la sonde X-rite i1 Display Pro. J'ai testé les uns après les autres pour la calibration : le logiciel fourni avec l'écran, celui fourni avec la sonde, et enfin DisplayCAL. C'est ce dernier qui m'a donné le résultat qui me semblait le plus fiable (le blanc avec les 2 premières calibrations tiraient sur le rouge, là c'est plus froid avec ce réglage final). C'est important de passer du temps sur cette calibration initiale, et de la refaire régulièrement.Les couleurs sont superbes, les angles de vision très bons, c'est un plaisir de chaque instant de visionner mes vidéos en 4K ou mes photos sur cet écran. L'ergonomie est excellente, le report de boutons est très rapide et pratique. Je n'ai pas encore installé le hood mais je le ferai bientôt. Les bords fins sont parfaits, l'écran est sobre.Je pense vraiment qu'on s'approche de la qualité d'un écran Eizo, pour un prix bien plus abordable.Je voulais acheter un écran LG moins cher initialement, mais les commentaires trop récurrents sur leur mort au bout de quelques semaines ou quelques mois m'en a dissuadé. J'ai déjà un vidéo-projecteur BenQ depuis 5 ans et il fonctionne encore très bien, donc je fais confiance à cette marque. Je préfère mettre plus cher et être tranquille plus longtemps, et par ailleurs je passe mes journées entières à regarder cet écran, alors j'ai besoin d'un outil fiable dans le temps.J'ai un peu hésité avec l'écran 32 pouces, mais l'espace sur mon bureau m'a contraint à ce 27 pouces, c'est déjà très bien et immersif.

El cable USB-C incluido es de solo 1 metro.Es muy corto y no me llega al ordenador, al tener alzado el monitor en un brazo.He comprado un económico cable U-Green de 2m y no funciona para vídeo, ciertamente el DVI ralentiza la frecuencia de refresco en 4k. Tendré que buscar un cable USBC "bueno" de 2m para alzar el monitor en un brazo.Paradojicamente, el cable USB3 incluido es de 2 metros, lo cual, si se consigue unir el cable USB-C de 1m, nos sobra cable USB3.1. Creo que estaría bien que los fabricantes consideren estos detalles.Por el resto, el monitor me parece una pasada, pero no soy un entendido para valorarlo, hay muchos reviews profesionales en internet que alaban la calidad de este monitor.Encuentro muy práctico el mando a distancia del monitor,También se agradece que el software de calibración esté optimizado para los calibradores X-Rite y Spyder.
