Lazy Witchcraft for Crazy, Sh*tty Days: Easy Spells and Rituals for When You’re Stressed Out, Wiped Out, or Just Have No More Spoons to Give

I absolutely love it. I have taken my sticky tabs to mark pages and highlighted some of the important things. I love how it is written. I highly recommend for those who are starting out or just don’t have that much time or energy for complex things.

This little book is great! Written with humor and I love that. Not so sure it is as easy as the title indicates but I do recommend it!

I've been excited about this book since I preordered it months ago, and it didn't disappoint. Everything is written in a clear and simple way; the focus on accessibility is refreshing; and it made me giggle tons. I couldn't love it more.

Overall I really like this book. It has a bunch of helpful tips and tricks for when you’re feeling lazy and unmotivated.I do wish it had a little cheat sheet about each of the herb meanings. I like writing out the meaning for each herb used in spells, and there was a few I had to look up as I wasn’t familiar with them. I think knowing why cherry bark was used in the manifestation oil, for example, would’ve tied everything together.I think this is great for beginners and highly recommend!

What I like about this book it explains every spell in detail and explains how important intentions are. I give this book a 5 star

I chose to read this book out of sheer curiosity but it really was hard getting through it with all the swearing that is thrown in for no apparent reason, maybe I should have known with the swearing right on the cover but it never occurred to me that it would be used so often through the entire book. Just wasn’t for me. I thank Netgalley and Fair Winds Press for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This book is well written, thoughtfully executed and well worth my limited time, spoons, and money. I'd easily recommend it to anyone looking to dip a toe, or feel calmer about their practice.

Oh gods, where to begin.This book has some of the cringest writing I've ever read. I get that's it's meant to be conversational, but I refuse to believe the author speaks as she writes. It comes across as someone who's older trying to sound younger, or a younger person trying to sound edgy or current. The swearing and the slang just come off embarrassing and badly written.This book is supposed to be for people with low spoons. But in the first chapter, she suggests DYING twine to get the right colours as an alternative to buying them. Erm, what? I don't think low spoonies are going to waste precious energy on dying TWINE. That really is a sentence that should have been edited out.Also, the tools the author recommends are kind of over the top. It didn't feel as if there was much thinking outside of the box, or that much effort was made to reduce the amount of tools for low energy or lazy people. She also talks about buying handmade paper for spells, like... what?!My other biggest grip with this book is that a lot of the spells aren't very simple or low spoon friendly. Her 'Aphrodite Glamour Tea' has six ingredients, not including water and utensils - you're really telling me she couldn't have simplified this recipe a bit? The higher the spoon rating, the more the spells just start to look like standard spells one could find in any witchy book. Nothing simple about them.In one section also suggests going for a walk in nature, yet offers no alternatives for the chronically ill or people with disabilities. If you're writing a book about low energy witchery, I kind of think stuff like this should be included. Fail!Ultimately, this book feels very derivative. It offers nothing new and fails at making magic simpler. Honestly, I wouldn't waste your time... My copy is getting donated!

Such a fun read and beautifully laid out. Great for new brooms and seasoned Witches. I really hope she writes more.
