Best board out there
I use this everyday. The best value for money chess board out there. It is aesthetically beautiful, wooden and light enough to carry around to a pub or elsewhere. The quality of the pieces is satisfactory and the magnetic factor makes playing much easier. Furthermore, the notation helps ease of learning

A beautifully made wooden chess set
I am very pleased with this puchase. The rosewood and New Zealand pine squares are beautifully made, as are the pieces and whole board. The little velvety cavities to hold the pieces inside the box, when not in use or travelling, are also greatly appreciated. The magnetic hold of the pieces is more than adequate and very useful. I am mystified how the seller can market this at under £30 in these inflationary times, which is not meant as an invitation to jack up the price.

Beautiful board
This was a special Christmas present for my eldest. He is really into chest and actually taught me, so now it's our thing. I had spent sometime in Amazon looking at different boards... I was not impressed by some that showed 2 different wood colours which would annoy us both, but I noticed in the photos when you open this board up the wood colour inside matches... And secondly the additional queen's... Thirdly he wanted magnetic as he often accidentally knocks some over while we play this helps minimise this.Highly recommended

Magnetism is Genius
I have bad coordination due to disability, and this has SAVED the game of chess for me! Had it for months now and am beating my partner like a pro without worrying about knocking it all over xD love the chonky pieces too! Feel like proper wood.
