This works great and scans barcodes that are damaged like they're prefect
This works great and scans barcodes that are damaged like they're prefect. SUCH an upgrade from scanning on your phone. Scans take 1-3 seconds depending on how good your internet connection is. You could literally use this for 1,000 different purposes. I was a little afraid to buy it, at first, because it was an unknown brand without a lot of feedback, but I'm so glad I did. Set-up isn't hard but you do have to read the instructions and figure out what to do based on what you want the machine to do. They have a website to help you with that.

Finally!!!
I use this with an android phone, and it works GREAT. No need for serialgears or any other software. Truly plug and play. Works great with FBAscan and scoutify. I tried the KDM and Opticon scanners...what a headache. Also tried an off-brand scanner, don't bother. This is the only scanner I'll ever use again. have dropped it numerous times and it still works great. The battery lasts longer than my phone battery. No negatives at all. Stop looking at other scanners, you've found the best one for scouting.

I like my $40 Eyoyo 1D Much Better!
I am rating 4 stars because I don't want to lower their rating and I only used this scanner is "Basic Mode". It is very possible this could be a great scanner in application mode. But I couldn't get app mode to work while using ScoutIQ.So when comparing Basic mode I like my Eyoyo much better. It scans better, it is quicker, and it was so much easier to set up out of the box. It's manual is also miles better as it has all the barcodes on there to change the options to the scanner. The S800 for me was a pain to set up and silence the beeping/vibrating (which it still beeps then you turn it on and when activating your phones keyboard)... The only thing I like more is the sleek size and looks. But for almost 5x the price! I'll take the Eyoyo any day!

Not reliable
We bought this because we were told this was the one we had to use with our fire protection inspection program. It does not sync very well or stay linked with you phone . The scanner was used with both type of phones

This thing is simply amazing. I initially had a harder time setting it up as there are different protocols to get it all setup. Their customer support line helped me out extremely fast and it synced with my Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3, and my blackberry pric just fine.If you're a reseller just spend the extra money this. I've been to a few garage sales now and I've scanned through books I usually would skip because they don't look worth it and the fast scanning on this has made me some serious cash. It's 100% worth it and you'll make your money back in no time.

Slow scanning. Not worth the price at all
Super slow scanning, painful setup, annoying beeps that you can't turn off. Only thing going for this thing is the size and battery life...Get an eyoyo for ~$40 instead and you won't regret it! Worlds better.

Must have for any scanner monkeys!
I have used several bluetooth scanners before for my amazon sourcing, I have to say this is by far the best I have ever had and I don't see my self needing a different one ever again, it never misses a scan, always grabs the correct numbers, it recognizes many types of invalid barcodes (foreign country codes usually) and does not scan them, this feature is great for local database scanning so you don't get an accidental positive result. It can scan from about 8 inches away, I have even used it to scan an item through the glass counter at a store without having to ask the employee to get it out of the case for me.The only warning for buyers I would say is that the button is on a fixed spring and makes a small clicking noise every time you push it, this is not very noticeable but if you are in a library it might turn some heads occasionally.

I like how small it is
So far this has been really helpful for scanning books. It was a little confusing to set up (at first) but once I figured it out it went quickly. It definitely saves/prolongs my phone battery, and it scan quickly speeding up the whole process. I like how small it is, I just wish the clip case came in a size that would fit current IPhones.
