The HOMCOM power lift chair is the perfect size for the living quarters in my mother's assisted living facility. It came in a compact box, and all the assembly needed was snapping together the backrest into the frame section, and connecting the power supply and button unit to connectors, and you are done! No tools required. The chair does not take up a lot of floor space, and easily fit into the same footprint as the chair it replaced.The chair is very comfortable and well padded. I gave it a try when I was finished assembling it, and wanted to take a nap in it. The lift mechanism is very sturdy, and runs silently and smoothly. I was very impressed with how well the whole chair works, how stable it is, and for the price, it was very worth it. My mother is fairly small, around 5'1", so it fits her perfectly. I'm 6', and I could sit in it comfortably, but probably would want to have a bigger chair if I were buying it for myself. The controls are simple to operate, only 2 buttons, up and down--exactly what we were looking for. In our case, mom is 90 years old, so simpler is better as she would get confused with more buttons and functions.Overall, we were very impressed and this chair met our expectations. If you need a basic lift chair to help an average to small sized person, this one is definitely worth taking a look at.

Unlike most of the lift chairs we looked at, this one is not an overstuffed monstrosity that takes up all the space in the room. It was the perfect choice for an elderly family member who was recovering from a fall. I had it unboxed and put together (very easy!), ready to use when she returned from physical therapy rehab. It's slim, nicely priced, a pretty color, comfortable, and functions as advertised. Only one word of caution if you are in the market for an electric lift chair. If your loved one lives in an area prone to power outages, consider surge protection and battery backup. You don't want your loved one stuck in the reclined position for hours waiting for the buttons to work. Please don't ask us how we know. :-/

My mom is on the smaller side (150 lbs). This works well for a smaller space and smaller person. I am larger and sat in the chair and it didn’t fit me well. Also, the lift and lower is very slow. It assembled easily. She likes it but if you have extra weight it may not work for you.

Reasonably priced nice chair for someone thin and short. Purchased for my great grandmother who is 98 pounds and 5’5. It fits her perfectly. Seems to work well although my great grandma feels it is too slow lifting her out of the chair and needs additional lumbar support.

The size is perfect for a tiny to small adult , and the mechanics are great. The cushions are very firm and lack cushioning. My mother found it very uncomfortable, probably because she has no padding on her body. We hoped it would be helpful for the final stages of her life.

We loved threes so much we got a second! My parents recently moved in and they're both struggling with their health. I want to sure what to expect due to how inexpensive they are. But they're such a good deal. Initially I only got one for dad and mom could borrow it. But they love being next to each other and dad had to wait his turn so we decided on investing in a second! They are compact which might be a great thing or a bad thing. For us this is great. We're able to fit them side by side and my parents fit in them really comfortably. Mom is tiny so there's no issue. She's under 5'. Dad is about 5'9" so that was a concern. But nope. He loves his chair! We couldn't be happier. The control only has 2 buttons so it's really easy for them to use. Mom has early onset dementia and she struggles with new things but she's able to control her chair most of the time on her own.

I needed to get a power chair for my husband and thought this looked really nice and will help him. the chair states weight limit is up to 360 lbs, and he only weighs 130. well if you are a child this would be a great chair for them. This recliner was not for an adult, it's way to small. now I'm stuck with a chair that I can not use. And when you read people comments on how great it was, you tend to believe them. People need to be honest about the items when commenting on them. I would have not bought this chair for my 86 year old husband.wish I could send it back, it would cost me to much for packaging and shipping.

Bought for my small elderly mother, right fit for a 5’1 petite person, all functions work, fabric durable, the seat is a little deep so will need a chair pillow if smaller person, not loud, recliner works great, great value compared to others on the market
