I love this book and crafting set so much that I purchased a second copy to give as a gift to a young friend who has a doll and enjoys crafting, and seems to be interested in space right now.As a woman working in a male dominated field, I especially enjoyed all of the different career options presented in this book and how perfectly at home the dolls looked working as astronauts, architects, videogame programmers, etc.This is presented in a box. There is a book in the front that shows the dolls in their cool set up, then has a facing page which tells you how to create a similar set up. In some cases, the materials, cardboard cutouts, stickers, or small accessories needed to complete the scene are included in a little envelope in the back of the box. This gives so many fun options for building the beautiful scenes that foster creative play with these dolls.I don't see any reason why this line of books could not be used with other brands of dolls or the wellie wishers line of dolls which is ever so slightly smaller.I was so impressed with this one that I have since purchased other doll crafting books in this line, including the baking one that shows how to make a fun kitchen set up.

My 4 year old is advanced and she loves Science and space. I purchased both of these thinking they were pretty different, but they are indeed similar books. Doll STEM and American Girl “Discover Science” include similar pictures and projects . I’ve attached some pictures to show their similarities. The book shown in the photos on top are from Doll STEM, and at the bottom are from Discover Science. In my opinion if you’re choosing between which of the two to purchase I’d definitely pay a little more and purchase Doll STEM instead. It comes with a lot of punch outs, stickers, etc for projects, and it’s also overall cuter and more engaging

My kiddo loved this! It has a lot of cute DIY activities which requires some outside supplies but it does come with some cute accessories to add.

This is lots of fun and a good learning tool. My husband, who is a retired chemistry Professor thought is was a well done book for children. And, I love the little doll work apron that is included.
