The product works well. The description does not explain the mechanism for fixing batteries.

I also own a smaller version of the same charger which I was mostly happy with so I decided to get the bigger. As I used them more and more, well I'm not quite as happy with them.For the most part, they're OK, you drop a battery in, it charges and you pull it out, but lately, I've run into a few 18650s (more than one brand, more than one capacity) that just do not seem to charge right. I charge them, it says they're done and I drop them back in the light that I had them in and the light is dim. I check the voltage and the voltage is low. I haven't quite figured out what the problem is and I haven't given up on the charger (both seemed to work well initially and they seem to work fine on all the other batteries) so so far that's maybe a star or a little less off.The next bit, again, not maybe a whole star- the terminals are flat, there is no bump to firmly engage the battery, so batteries with flat ends don't tend to make contact well. OK, some oddball batteries need some fidgeting, but I have had it where I drop a battery in, I think it's OK and I come back later and it's not charging, not connected.Finally, at this price, I feel like this should have more testing and other features. Now admittedly I haven't found anything cheaper that does more without having to "make" something myself, but it is possible, and with all the battery tech out there now it really is kind of necessary, again, not really a full star thing, so I ended up at 3 stars.

LiitoKala makes some of the best chargers. Having12 slots is why I got this unit. For the money though I think it should gave some additional features such as testing and perhaps repair. An on/off switch would be nice and why are the 9v charger lights always on although not being used. Annoying.

just ordered this item mainly to keep nimh batteries charged for console controllers and also to charge my 180 lifepo4 batteries before going into an e bike.How well it performed ? well it didn't mode key doesn't work so i'm stuck with nimh, didn't detect lifepo4 battery, slot it too short to fit the 26700 lpo

I love Lito Kala products I was somewhat disappointed to discover that this did not have the full range features that they typically have products. This one testing to be specific I have one of their testers and it was cheaper than this and it’s one of my favorite products yeah this is a good way to charge a lot of batteries quickly but for the money that should have testing capacity.Also, this doesn’t work well with flat top batteries because the contacts are flat. I have a stack of tiny magnets. I used to get around that but there’s no reason that the charging contacts didn’t have dimples in them for fly out especially since this pride itself. I’m being able to charge all different kinds of batteries.Definitely better made compared to all the cheap chargers out there and I’m sure it will work well but it’s expensive for what you get.
