I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an expensive backpack just to try rucking, but after a few sessions, my back was aching! I was carrying over 45 lbs, and my regular backpack wasn’t cutting it. That's when I discovered these shoulder pads. They work great on any backpack, and importantly, they're thick. This thickness helps relieve the rubbing on my shoulders and absorbs some of the impact from the up-and-down motion during longer walks.When you compare this to spending several hundred dollars on a purpose-built backpack, these shoulder pads are a fantastic deal. While they may not replace a Goruck, they definitely make carrying heavy loads more comfortable. Thanks to these pads, I was able to get into rucking, and for that, I am truly grateful!

I just got a new large camera backpack for an upcoming trip. The first time out with it I packed it up pretty full. The shoulder strap really made my shoulder sore. So that's why I looked around for some pads. These fit my pack's shoulder straps perfectly and for the most part stay in place. I did later learn my pack was not properly adjusted, which caused my shoulders to have to carry the weight. With that corrected, the shoulder issue was really helped. However, the padding is still nice to have and don't add much weight at all. Since they're new, I can't comment on their durability but they seem well made. They're worth a try.

Works well to take the pressure off my neck, only issue is it doesn’t really stay in place in my sling so I need to regularly reposition it

Very thick! I took them in my backpack but decided they were much too bulky. My backpack wasn’t really heavy enough to warrant purchasing these. But that’s my fault. Good product and fits snugly, just be aware they’re very thick.

Protects my shoulders from the weigh vest straps. Fits well. I like that the velcro goes front to back. I like the extra straps on top if I need to hook anything on it while I run. Very padded. Would buy again.

As you see in pic did not purchase these for what they are made for. This is a lat machine crunch attachment that I modified with handles. All of them are too short to grab. But under the pads are metal rings and snap connectors. I crunch with a fair amount of weight and don't feel the connectors at all. Should work great for a pack or messenger bag

Great thick straps for my bag I’ve been carrying big enough stuff for these to help and there excellent very comfy just a little thick

My son got these for his school backpack. They absolutely saved his shoulders. They are perfectly cushioned and comfortable. He loves them.
