Arrow 1851 Men's Hamilton Poplins Short Sleeve Button Down Plaid Shirt

I bough two Arrow men's poplin shirts and have worn and laundered them both twice. As a 4X size man I've been disappointed in other brands' fit and finish, but these shirts are tailored to fit my body very well. Moreover, the finish is impeccable with the pockets patterns matched to the shirt pattern, sturdy seams and hems, and tails suitable for wearing outside the pant for casual or long enough to stay tucked securely away.The fabric has remained crisp and smooth after launderings, and significantly, the collar shape and lay are like new. Unlike my experience with other brands, this shirt has not needed the touch of an iron, The fabric is cool--just right for summer--as a short sleeve sport shirt should be.After several disappointments, I had stopped buying Arrow shirts years ago. I bought these only because the price + shipping was surprisingly low. In future, I buy Arrow shirts because this experience warrants my repeat business.

My husband is a little over 6ft tall with an inseam of 32 that means he is ALL BODY! Finding shirts that stay tucked in are next to impossible without going with the long tail and even then not all long tail shirts are long enough.He is also barrel chested and has some dun-lap to deal with and that makes it even harder to find a shirt that will stay neatly tucked in his dockers/WranglersThis shirt stays tucked, comes out of the dryer looking great and works well when he has to travel and pull it out of a garment bag. He hangs it in the bathroom when he showers and the steam knocks the few wrinkles from the garment bag trip to look neat and clean for a business meeting.

This is a very comfortable shirt to wear, and will purchase others. There's just two things that need to be looked at: 1) Move those extra buttons from the front to the side, where they can't get caught between belt buckle and stomach. And 2) Make the neck and shoulder area a bit roomier, without being billowy. Similar to the way VH makes their Big & Tall shirts (which I also purchased). Make those two changes, give me lots of colors and patterns, and this will be a five star review.

Any big and tall guy knows how important collar size is with respect to the chest and comfort all the way to the waist. This shirt fit like an IZOD shirt would. Very baggy in the chest, and an over sized collar, as if the second to top button is spaced too far from the very top button. Even when both were buttoned the shirt would buckle in that area. Did not like this, nor do I like IZOD shirts for this exact reason. The best shirts I’ve found were The Foundry, however with Pennys going out of business and Foundry being their brand, they’ve been making less than quality shirts over the last four years.

These shirts fit my 2XL friend perfectly, and it can be hard to find shirts that work for him. These are comfortable to wear, very well constructed, and are wrinkle free after laundering. What's not to like?

I love my shirt. I’m a big guy so I expected it to be slightly more loose fitting, but it’s what I’d describe as “regular fit”. The size I bought is not too tight not too loose. As far as quality goes, it doesn’t feel cheap and the pattern is decent. It’s thin enough to be a summer shirt, but thick enough it doesn’t feel like it will tear easy. Pretty soft. Will definitely buy again.

I'm average height (6'6" ... the average between 6 and 7 feet), 210 lbs. The Large-tall size fits and looks fine, either tucked in or not. I liked the first so much, I bought two more. The fabric is comfortable in Florida humidity and the shirt comes out of the dryer in a reasonably wrinkle-free condition. I wish it came in more patterns.

I recently bought the Arrow 1851 Men's Big Hamilton Poplin Short Sleeve Button Down Plaid Shirt, Quetzel Green, 3X-Large Tall shirt as a big and tall size along with another of their shirts. While I'm very happy with the other shirt, this one I'm a little let down about.This one is oddly a bit shorter than the other shirt I bought and it's not "big." It's a 3X big, but not a B&T "big" like other shirts I've purchased from Arrow. So there is a discrepancy in the size of the shirts, which sucks cause I kinda wanted that B&T "big." I like having the extra room.

My husband has a difficult time finding short-sleeved shirts with the obligatory pocket, so I decided to try this one. It was such a great choice, I ordered two more. Now he has shirts in different colours to carry him through the summer and into the fall.

I have short legs and a long torso and like to get tall length shirts I ordered tall and shirts but these are still short in my opinion. The quality is decent it fits a little tighter than I would’ve expected for my sizing but too short for me becomes a weekend shorts and don’t care kind of shirt.

Like one of your other reviewers I too had the shirts altered to a non tuck. I wore arrow shirts for years before retiring at my office job and still have a few left. They wash well, and if pulled out of the drier immediately require little or no ironing. Liked so much that I ordered a total of six shirts.

I am 6' 3" 210 lbs and I was looking for shirts that fit (regular size is too short in the body of the shirt). I decided to try one of the Arrow XL TALL shirts out of curiosity. I was impressed with the fit and the quality of the shirt. I then proceeded to order 7 more. You get a great shirt for a low price, a great deal.
