I really like that Saw Palmetto is the only ingredient in these and that it's organic. There is no taste to the capsules and they had no aftertaste either. Love that there was both a plastic seal outside the container as well as an interior seal!

Saw Palmetto does many things, the one I am interested in using it as a DHT inhibitor. (If you have hair loss and don't know what a DHT inhibitor is, you might want to, as it is responsible for male and female pattern balding .)Going to the Fleur website, you see that this product is made in the US by a woman owned business, for women. Of course, men take Saw Palmetto too and there is absoultely no reason that this product won't work for them. I like the company statement, they have a quality tab at the top of their homepage (good sign) and state that there are no additives, also very good.At first glance, the price seems high but if you look at lthe products that are much less expensive per pill. you see that you have to take many pills to get the same dose. And the multiple pills turn out to cost more than one of these. But I am not sure I am comparing apples to apples. The label says that this Saw Palmetto is standardize to 45% fatty acid. The fatty acid is what you want and 45% is low. Some are as high as 95%, and that alters the comparison. But I don't know exactly how to compare. After looking around, I feel that these are in the middle of the price range, so no * gained or lost for value.Do you need the whole 500mg? When looking at the dosage for use as a DHT inhibitor in men, products from the leading men's hair loss contain under 200mg saw palmetto. But most research has been done on men. However, it looks like around 200 to 300 milligrams is being recommended for women, based on a few trials. So if the 45% acid means that 500mg at 45% is the same as 250mg at 90%, then I would think that 500mg is a proper dose.I am giving 4* instead of 3* ( which, for me, means fine but nothing better than average) because this is made by a smaller business in a US facility and I prefer that.Please note that there are a few people who shouldn't take saw palmetto. For example, if you are pregnant or nursing, DO NOT take it. You need to pass on the DHT, you don't want to surpress. This is just the most important one that I see, I recommend that you check before taking it.

Fleur is a reputable company and I've used another one of their products. I was happy to see this Saw Palmetto. I like that it doesn't contain any additives. My husband takes it for his prostate. The Fleur brand has worked as well for him as the brand he normally takes. It's a good value at its current price (approximately $20), for a two month supply.

I tried this brand of saw palmetto and I am pleased. The capsules have no taste or smell for me and they are east to swallow if you are used to this size supplement pill. I like that it does not have other ingredients and is made in the US as well. These seem like the similar dose I get from my other saw palmetto brand but with these I just take one instead of 2 like I usually do. For me I plan to keep taking them for a long time in hopes it helps save my hair.

I've been giving my dog saw palmetto since he is an older intact male and older dogs can have prostate problems. Saw palmetto is purported to help with prostate enlargement. Your research and results may vary, but it seems to be helping him. I've used liquids and now I've decided to try powder. These FLEUR supplements are easy to open and sprinkle on his food and he doesn't seem to mind the flavor. I'm not sure how much they help, but if it helps any, it's well worth it. It's easy and there are plenty in the container to last a while. Do your research and see if you think this may be helpful for you - I'm not providing medical advice, just stating what I do. These are flavorless capsules that are easy to swallow, have no aftertaste, and work well. I took the full bottle and saw/felt results that made me happy. This is a brand that has not let me down and I would gladly get them again.

These capsules are easy to swallow and great for the price. There is no nasty aftertaste however it does smell a little strong and the taste is a little nasty when you first put it in your mouth but once swallowed, the taste goes away and is not bothersome.

I've been using saw palmetto for many years and I was really happy to find FLEUR Saw Palmetto Supplement. The other brands I've used are different strength and I have to take multiple capsules at a time, but with this brand I only need one. The bottle came well sealed with a best by date of 2/28/27. Happy that these are made in a US GMP facility - look forward to exploring other offerings from FLEUR.
