While this will never actually perform any spells, it sure does look great and have a good “hand feel” when you’re holding it. This is a solid device that is built well. My son is obsessed with Harry Potter and expects his wand to meet their very specific requirements (with the exception of unicorn fur, phoenix feathers, etc.). We purchased it to go with his Halloween costume, but I think he will enjoy using it for years to come with cosplay. Additionally, the cost of it met my expectations with the item received. It has a good weight to it that helps you know you have received a quality item. I imagine the wand looks “real” if such a thing were to be possible.
