White Kitty-Cat Money Bank: Large Blow-Mold - Classic Retro Design

I knew not to expect much from this, so I am happy with it. I am 40 years old and remember my mom having these same banks for me and my sister when we were little. Various colors throughout the years. So, my daughter told me she wants to find a huge cat bank and I immediately thought back to these and the old ceramic/clay cat statues. Of course she had meant she wanted something a bit nicer, but it is really hard to find anything decent looking in a large size in a realistic cat style. She was happy with this though because she can paint it a little and add some color. It is cute, as is, even though it is just plain white, but the options are endless as far as shading it and adding color to it. It is a nice starting piece for lots of potential. It is a great size and will hold a lot. Just have to cut a hole in the bottom when you want to take money. A pocket knife or good sharp steak knife should do. It is very lightweight until you get the money in there. I have no complaints about it. Will serve our purpose perfectly and does look good overall.

I like that she looks cheap af because no one would think there is money inside. She is cute as hell and is loved by all. I have seen other reviews paint theirs. I also like that its not like most of the piggy banks out there where you can just screw yourself over and pop open the bottom and bam you have your money. Here, you either have to desperately squeeze your fingers and scrape them thru the little slit and maybe get like a single bill out, or just actually drill or saw it open to get it all. This has helped me tremendously in the self control department.

Pretty strong plastic! I had another bank similar to this one from years ago that I have had filled! Coins are heavy and that one finally gave out at the seam from the weight. This one is holding all the weight just fine. I imagine in a couple years I'll have to replace it too, but this is life.

Very cheap and some parts of it were see through.

I got this bank because my daughter loves cats, but she kept accidentally breaking the ceramic banks sold in stores. I guess I didn’t read the measurements of this too closely though because when it arrived, I was shocked at how huge it is. Seriously, it would take about ten years to fill this thing up if you were just filling it with extra change And not purposely converting all of your birthday money into coins like we started doing for her when I got this. She’s had it for two years now and it’s not even 1/3 of the way full. It’s nice and sturdy, and it’s solid white so she can put stickers on it to decorate it, which is fun, but my other complaint would be that I have no idea how we are going to get the money out when it comes time to do so. There is a slot to put your money through, but I think we’re going to have to cut off kitties head when we want to take the money out again. Either that, or shake the bank really hard for days upon days.

Ridiculously huge but awesome at the same time. Thin plastic but looks like a statue. Don't buy if you hate the sound of change. The slot in the head is so far from the bottom it makes a pretty loud noise when it hits the bottom. Still a great place to sock away some change and not have to look at an ugly jar.

So I bought a white one for me....I think it's big enough and I love it! Then my sister asked me to get one for her...so I ordered the black one for her.....I just wish that I got a black one too. I can see the money in my white bank...its the opposite for the black cat.
