Works perfectly. I needed a large moat because our feeder was being over run by huge black ants. Just make sure to not fill it to the brim, otherwise they can float right over to the edge and climb down. I love that it's see through so I can see if I need to add water or not. Doesn't leak. Easy to put together. Totally worth it. No more ants!

Yes they work!
We set the moats up on our 2 hummingbird feeders and 2 oriole feeders they day the moats arrived, almost 2 weeks ago. We have not had any ants in the feeders since! The water stays in the moats with no problem, I do check them daily to be sure.The moats are easy to set up, are sturdy and super easy to clean.

Pretty and function well
Besides being a very pretty addition to a hanging hummingbird feeder the hooks used make the feeder easier to hang. I also like the wider diameter. ; very easy to refill with water!

These are great for keeping ants out of your bird feeders. They are sturdy & big enough that you don't have to refill them everyday in the heat of summer.

No more ants!!!
Love this product. Have installed 4 of them on all our hummingbird feeders and the ants at first drowned and now ants do not come to the feeders any more. We are really pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone with pesky ants on their hummingbird feeders. Thank you.
