I take two of these daily.They are easy to swallow and are tasteless.

Right, so collagen supplements rarely contain actual collagen; usually it is the 'peptides' (it has been hydrolysed), meaning that the 'collagen' supplement is actually a bunch of amino acids derived from collagen. The science is that the you take the 'collagen' and the body detects it in the bloodstream and 'thinks' that you are losing more collagen than you should and so is stimulated into making more than it was to make up for the loss. Because of this, vegan alternatives are possible, where the same amino acids come from non-animal sources. Because it's a little more complex than using animal/marine collagen to produce the peptides, they're generally much more expensive than non-vegan supplements.This is pretty much in line with the price of many other vegan collagen supplements. It comes in a fully recyclable, resealable packet and with a very long shelf life. The capsules are pretty standard - I swallow them with food and don't notice them at all.If you're interested in this type of supplement, then this is as good a quality as any other I've had, though powder is far cheaper to buy, though might be less 'convenient'.

I usually take marine collagen (presumably harvested from fish, I've never bothered to find out!). This is described as "Our Vegan Collagen Complex is a superb plant-based alternative to marine (fish) and bovine collagen."However, collagen is not found in plants, only animals.Read further and all becomes clear: "We developed a plant-based alternative using research-backed, high-quality plant extracts and amino acids to support collagen production in a natural way."So not actually collagen then...I suppose it could be a good thing to take with "real" collagen supplements though?! I'm happy to take it on that basis.Obviously, as with most supplements we have no way of telling if they are really doing anything, but I am happy to believe that they are.

Unusual to see a vegan collagen supplement amongst the marine and bovine options. Nice to have this as an alternative. Comparable value. You are instructed to take two of the easy to swallow capsules in the morning, and two later in the day with food. The benefits of collagen are far-reaching, definitely worth a try.

This product does state that the ingredients are to support the formation of the user's own collagen on the packaging but the product's name may be confusing.I love that this arrived in a recyclable packet that can lie flat and that the manufacturers are UK-based and adhere to good manufacturing practices. The product has no fillers or binders and no artificial ingredients and is labelled GMO and gluten-free, this is fabulous. I also love that a tree is planted with every order and that I have approx.18 months to use this product before expiry. I recognise many of the ingredients as those used to nutritionally support skin health, such as Sea Buckthorn and Vitamin E as well as sources of Vitamin C, to support collagen synthesis.Taking four capsules per day means this pouch will last a month which in turn means the monthly investment would be between £15.99 at present and £22.99 per month.

Collagen being vegan is a new concept to me but I was keen to try it. You get 120 capsules in the resealable pouch and with the dose recommended on the packet of 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening this pack will last 40 days. I like the combination of ingredients in these capsules plus they are additive free and made in the UK all of which are important to me. The capsules are easy to swallow and do not repeat on me. I very much like the ethical stance Time Health have with the support they give the reforestation project and also appreciate that the capsules come in a recyclable pouch rather than a plastic bottle.
