After some std. modifications, lid latches, sealer, additional support for the burn box and the charcoal box which all help to maintain heat consistency we found this to be a nice addition and use much less charcoal too. Of course this is more a hobby for my husband than a form of cooking with taste......but we don't need to tell him that....=)

im using it in my oklahoma joes highland smoker. it works fine but i've noticed from the first use that it does warp. it still works its just the metal is a little thin and if you get up to around 300 degrees it will warp
