I recently had knee surgery and knew I would be spending some time in bed. I use it as a backrest to read or work on my laptop, as a way to elevate my leg to reduce swelling, and as a cushion under my knee when it’s hurting. It is very firm, so useful for these purposes.

Received multiple defective orthopedic wedges. The first one, only half of the area for the lower back inflated. The second one, the only thing that inflated was the pillow. The rest of the wedge never inflated. The wedges come in a vacuum sealed package and do not inflate once the package is opened. They also do not put the wedge in a box that it can be returned in. Do be aware that if you receive a defective orthopedic wedge, you will have to purchase a box big enough to return the wedge, so it is not a free return as they say it is.

UPDATE: I want to update my review. The seller reached out to me and provided a full refund in a speedy manner. Thank you.I purchased this to use after shoulder surgery. It arrived defective. A large portion of the main piece is rock hard and flat. It will NOT fluff out. I do NOT recommend this product.

It is great because you can adjust it to so many different positions. I am getting breast augmentation done and will need to sleep sitting up for 2 weeks and I tried it ahead of time to get use to it and I past out soooo fast.

Perfect for reading and watching tv.

A must buy if you are having a hysterectomy! I purchased mine two days after being discharged from the hospital and wished I had ordered before surgery. This pillow helped getting in and out of bed with so much less pain! And helped keep me comfortable when sleeping. Pillow is made very well. I used a cotton sheet to cover it while using. A must have for post op recovery!
