Yacht rope leads are used by horse trainers world wide. Made in the USA with an eye spliced loop. A back spliced is done on the popper end for added weight. Double braid polyester has great abrasion resistant properties and is very strong. High quality product manufactured by the Knotty Girlz of CBKnot.

Nice length, weight and suppleness.
I was looking for a lead rope long enough to double as reins, to attach to a rope halter, which was long enough for me to give my horse enough slack to touch his nose to the ground when I want to let him. This one (I got the 14 ft one) was pretty much exactly the length I was looking for. The rope has a good weight to it and I like the suppleness of it. It has great free movement for carrying over subtle cues. I'm very happy with this product.

Good Purchase
I have several of these I like the weight even without hardware. They're about the same price as leads made out of inferior material and much cheaper than certain "clinician" branded ropes. They hold up well to the Arizona heat and sun I'll continue to buy these leads and their halters as long as they make them.

Worth it!
I was looking for something decently heavy, but not to heavy just enough to make it easy to gently throw over my horses back and have it carry it's own weight. Its sturdy and smooth to the touch. This is not something that will peel or frazzle with use ( so far ) Only reason it's not a 5 is that I've only had it for 4 to 6 months and I haven't gotten to see how well it ages. Although I'm pretty sure it will do well :)side note : after using Pat Parelli ropes but not wanting to pay the price, this are a fair match.

Just the right length for groundwork
This is a high quality lead rope that feels soft but is sturdy and strong enough to get the job done. I found it hard to find a lead rope in this length, which I think is just perfect for groundwork without leaving too much rope puddling around your feet and tripping you up. It's also the length recommended by Clinton Anderson which is the main reason I bought it!

It's ok
This lead rope is nice and it does it's job, but it's definitely not as nice as the Clinton Anderson lead ropes. I have purchased the rope halters from this seller and I really like those and recommend them, so I was excited to try the lead rope, but it's not quite the same.

Feels good in my hands
Feels good in my hands. Don't need to wear gloves. Stays nice looking and works well. I really like the added 4 feet (got the 14' one) and love the little popper for the sound it makes when I twirl the end which helps in communication with the horse. Good for "dancing" with the horse.

Love it, works very well.
This lead rope is great quality, just the right weight and length. It gives my mare room to be a horse without feeling claustrophobic, and gives me the peace of mind that I'm connected to her without worrying about this thing snapping. Worth the expense.
