Really love this for my hip and spine support.
I am bedbound about 20 hours per day. This has provided me with so much pain relief on my spine and hips! It’s easy to set up and functions seamlessly. The quality is great and it’s easy to clean. It’s a good price point vs a pressure mattress for sure! I have a lot of pain and this has helped it be a little less intense!

Comfort needed comfort provided
comfortable bedding for a great price. Easy to fill up, It has been successful on top of a twin sized medical bed i use for my mom. She has not complained about her back and seems to be less grumpy in the morning. the length is perfect for the twin bed. I do make sure that it is covered with some type of protection to ensure it doesn't get punctured. The quality seems to be standing up and hopefully in 6 months it will still be useful. I have not had to pump it up for about 2 weeks now.

Perfect topper for hospital bed
This was the perfect addition to the bed for my aging father who is bed bound. It functions just as expected. The pump is super quiet, even when pumping at “full throttle”. This was well worth the price.

A reason for the 2 stars
Let me say, I live with Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Some call it the Princess and the Pea Syndrome. I have lived with it for over 25 years. I have been through every kind of mattress, in an attempt to find one comfortable. This was just one more. This started out the first couple of nights, like it was going to be perfect. But then, like all of the others, it became painful for me. I had it on the lowest/softest setting and that did not work. Only way it was not painful, was to turn the pump off. Which kinda defeats the purpose of this mattress. My other complaint, is that it may start out cool, but becomes hot, due to the fabric used to make the mattress. Does not breathe at all, but then, how could an air mattress breathe? It can't. I tried mattress covers. Nothing worked. Unfortunately I will need to return it. So for me, the mattress was a 2 star product. May not be for you though.

Relief
I am bedridden and have pressure sores/decubiti in sacral area. This mattress greatly relieves the pressure pain. It is easy to install. The motor unit is compact. The motor only creates a low pitched hum. I will need to have it longer to assass durability.

Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Is So Helpful For Those Who Need It. ;o)
Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)I am now home recovering from a major surgery. I encountered something akin to this alternating air mattress during my hospital stay, and I wanted to recreate the experience at home, using similar form of this alternating air mattress. The air mattress kit is very well made, no worries there. But I did encounter a few issues that did give me pause. Allow me to explain further:The manual was very brief, and wasn't very explanatory at all, other than warnings for the care of this air mattress. I would've like a short explanation of how this process works, so I could better judge the right settings to benefit me.My hubby was helping me install this alternating bubble mattress on the bed, and found we both had trouble installing the air hoses to the twin valves at the bottom of the pad... he has arthritic hands, and trust me, they were hard/very stiff to put on. I understand the reason for the tight fit-- so air doesn't escape. But golly, my heart goes out to seniors who will encounter these air hoses with difficulty. (Perhaps they hire someone to do this for them, I wonder?)That said, I found out the inlet and outlet hoses were fabricated in such way, that they were firmly attached or joined together; each of the alternating air valves were about an inch or so apart, and I had to cut a small part of the twin hoses apart to get them onto the air spigots. Hopefully, I'm making sense here? The manual doesn't even talk about this solution-- and I tried to attach the twin hoses to no avail-- until I cut them apart a little, to make this air flow work.I then tried out several settings after the mattress was inflated, and for the life of me, I couldn't feel the alternating pods very much. I'm pretty sensitive as they come, and I was surprised. I will say the pump did its job as I could see the air pods fluctuating like it should. Perhaps what I experienced in the hospital was a more robust, professional version-- I could only guess. The pump was quiet, with a low hum. I'm sure this mattress topper is great for others... just not as much for me, I'm sorry to say.A suggestion for the manufacturer/seller... the knob on the pump doesn't click into position on the dial for all of the settings. If anything, the knob is on the loose side, and pivots without much clicking to hold the pointer to the amount of softness or firmness you would choose on the dial. This tactile feeling lets us know we found the selection for the pump to aspire to. Without a 'clicking in place,' it is easy to knock the knob to an unwanted setting, is what I'm trying to say..I will still recommend this alternating air pressure mattress, as the build is very good and fairly easy to set up. (For me, I may have to search further for a more tactile version, more like what I experienced at the hospital. ;o)Give this ProHeal Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Topper a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase.***********************************************************May Your Upcoming Summer Be Full Of FUN! ;o)Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.
