Hum drum
Ronnie Corbett comes across as a really decent chap but the book is so bloody boring. It’s as though it’s been written to be read before the watershed. He’s no raconteur which is deeply disappointing.

not so high hopes
I like Ronnie's acting compared to his book . Not everyone can be a talented writer. I expected more about his life , rather than all about his links / connections with show business people , and the ' upper class ' . Did he grow up with a chip on his shoulder ?? God bless him, may he rest in peace.

Brought as a present so have no idea how good this CD pack is just hopping the recipient enjoys.

Bought for father -in-law
Father in law is 86 and is now partially sighted following a stroke so reading a book is now a mammoth task for him. This lets him sit in his favourite chair with his headsets on ( volume than not a problem to neighbours unlike the TV!) and pleasantly whiles away whatever time he wants. This is a particularly good 'book' as it is the author himself narrating.

A nice little read
I enjoyed this. I have read many autobiographies which can often be a bit boring. But this brought through the warmth of the man Ronnie Corbett.

The Life of a Gentleman
This is an extremely readable and entertaining light read from one of Britain's best entertainers and talented actors. He came across in interviews as a gentlemen, only confirmed in this very funny read.

Ronnie Corbett High Hopes
If you are a Ronnie Corbett fan then you must read this. I enjoyed it very much and learnt a lot about him. I just felt that there was a lot left out, but got the feeling that it was left out because it is none of our business. Basically all about his career and people he knows and has worked with.

High hopes
I found this book intersting and gained a insight into the way TV presentations are put together. If you are looking for a comedy this is not the book for you.I would reccomend it to the serious reader, anyone who enjoys a autobiography
