Delicious
Very good authentic smooth tahini with no added oil. Works great for hummus, sauces and dressings....or straight off the spoon.

Taste
Taste is superior, not as thick as others but that is not a problem.

Not a paste.
I have had tahini before several times, this may be what it is suppose to be like but it is not what I have had previously. The container is suitable for purpose and storage with a good BBF date. It came with an intact security seal. On opening it smelled nice. No matter how much I stirred it it remained mostly liquid, it was not a paste. I found the thicker stuff at the bottom but it was not a constituency that could be called a paste, far too runny. Taste is subjective so I will not comment in detail on that. I will not be ordering anymore.

Rancid and runny...
Has the consistency of milk, so neither a spread or a paste, and a very strong rancid taste making it unedible. Definitely one to avoid.

Quite runny but delicious and creamy
This Al Nakhil Tahina is an authentic and pure Tahini made from 100% ground sesame seeds and its quality really shows. Its quite a runny consistency compared to some other Tahini but its smooth and creamy with that characteristic sesame taste and no sign of the common separation of oil and thick paste that you can't break down. The best before date is around 18 months away. Brilliant for dips, humous and tahini sauce its a real staple in out house and this could be my new favourite brand

Decent tahini
OK it's not quite as thick as some tahini but I think it's a bit pointless for people to whinge about it not being a "paste". Have they really never had tahini before? It does make it easier to stir and homogenise (there's no thick stiff sediment at the bottom, which could just be that this is 'fresh' and has not had long enough for the thicker fats to settle), which is assisted by the wide opening at the top of the straight-sided plastic jar; many of the glass jars of tahini annoyingly have a narrower opening on a bulbous jar which means you can't stir very well. Taste wise it's as good as most tahini you will find, but I think in general it's hard to go wrong with such a simple single-ingredient product anyway. I've tasted many different brands of tahini over the years and there's only ever been one that I could say that I actually didn't like, though that's talking about tasting neat, it was still OK used in hummus.

Tahini
Most tahini I have had in the past has had a thick texture like ice cream, I was quite surprised by this, it is very runny in comparison, more like double cream. It is very nice taste wise with that classic sesame flavour which is both sweet and bitter. It comes in a plastic tub which is reasonably solid. This product has a best before date, and on mine it is about 18 months in the future.
