Packaged well and the item seams strong and sturdy.converts a single laptop or single 3.5mm headphone/microphone combined socket into a single female microphone socket and single female headphone socket.i am using it so i can put audio from another devices headphone socket (using 3.5mm male to male 2 pole lead in between) into the microphone socket of the splitter

I was using this for my 3DS to record audio from my PC by connecting an aux cable from the headphone port from my PC to the microphone port on the adapter, I couldn't get a signal. I tried different cables and adapters and it didn't help me.

We have bought so many of these, we have returned so many. They either don't work at all, stop working after a month. So frustrating.

I bought it to use on my MacBook Pro (2017).When I plug mic or headphones into the mac separately both work.When I then plugged this cable into the MacBook Pro it didn't work for me at all.Doesn't change the input from internal to external microphone when you plug it in.So it's the cable that isn't working for me.Looks like a sturdy cable so disappointed.

This was just the job for splitting the output from the Intel NUC, nice and tidy, looks to be reasonable quality. Time will tell on durability.

Looks the part and performs well. Used as a splitter for the Audio headphones and microphone for an on-line webcast. Works well.

My son has an Xbox and used this for linking his mic to the box he is over the moon that he can now stream. It’s worth every penny and so easy to use my son did it be himself!
